AKA ‘The Fabulous Flatnose’, SAAB produced 379 convertibles in 1986 all in silver with black leather interior. 122,000 original miles. Different front end and body side mouldings compared to the 1987 and up. I picked up this car from 2nd owner who owned the car for 28 years. All service records from 1989. Always garages kept. All original manuals. Sale includes convertible parade top.
I bought this for a summer project to introduce my son to all components of car ownership including Title, registration, insurance, repair and maintenance. Paint is all original with ZERO rust no accidents and never repainted (Except for trunk lid which had a scratch) The paint has typical clearcoat fading - not peeling - shows nicely. Convertible top is original and doesn’t leak. All options in perfect working order except for the original AM/FM cassette. Power Roof goes up/down perfectly. All windows and AC work. Car drives beautifully and has New Tires and New battery. Leather is excellent and holds original form, except for two wear spots on back of driver’s seat
