I bought the base car in 2008 as a bone stock c2 with the intent of building a PCA G class racer from the ground up (this was my 2nd 993 build). Unfortunately it was only raced once and has spent the last 8 years doing DE (PCA Instructor)and a few timetrials…

It is a blast to drive, very nimble, weighs only 2687 (without me or weights), and holds the track record for SCCA time trial at my home track.

This car is no creampuff (What is the expression? “there are no virgins in the whorehouse”) but has been impeccably maintained through the years. I really want to see this car go to a good home and will be happy to discuss the cars history and providence.

Base Car is 1995 993 C2 with LSD/ABD (4 channel ABS).

@jscott82, noooo. Say it ain't so. A cleaner track car will be hard to come by. A project where the quality in the build is plain to see and detailed in your threads over the years. GLWS!

Hope it finds its way into the hands of another who will continue to drive it like it was meant to be. Someone will get a real bargain for a track-able 993 with all the good bits already done.

Default 993 race car

hello, I am really interested in the car. I have been racing for many years in different Porsches. I recently sold my cup car do to running cost as well as running a few vintage events in my friends RS America. I have just a few questions about the car And would love to chat with you. I take extremely good care of my cars and it would be in a good home.

Thank you,
Eban Bell

Thanks Kevin... I have thoroughly enjoyed the journey, making a lot of good friends along the way.

Sound like the car is going to a good home....

Congrats, Jeff.

For anyone interested, I might be parting with my 993 G Class car (previously owned by Mark in Baltimore) which I've owned for about two years. Might have an opportunity to upgrade to a 996 GT3 from a family member. It is very similar to Jeff's car.

Car is in great condition, no accidents at all and fully documented history with receipts (on rennlist by Mark and while I've owned it). Maintained well and a decent amount of upgrade/maintenance work done during my ownership.

Send me a PM if interested in details.

Well that didn't take long! Someone is getting a good 993! Congrats to the seller and the buyer, the latter please drive it, we need more 993 's at DEs, especially the faster 993's showing what the platform is still capable .

New owner is coming from a 996 cup.. He will do us proud.

My only hope is he never drives my tracks and embarrasses me.
