Strip and Powder Coat the 3 Engine Tins & The Fuel Pump Cover
Exhaust & Cat Heat Shields professionally cleaned

Replaced 3 Drive Belts
Replaced Spark Plugs

This thread details some of the cleaning/refurbishment I completed on the car, see post #13:

The engine is free of oil leaks. A leakdown check during the maintenance work yielded the following results:
Cylinder #1 2%, #6 2%, #2 2%, #4 2%, #3 4% & #5 4%.
The A/C has been serviced with R12 and blows cold.
Bodywork & Paint:
The car is completely rust free and there is no evidence that it has ever been in a collision. The has been had some paintwork which presents very well, we believe this is due to environmental wear on the paint from it being outside in Japan at some time during it's life which is not uncommon for these cars.
Paperwork:
The car was imported legally into the USA under the 25 year rule. The new owner will receive a legal title in their state of residence, the same as buying any used car.
Included:
Spare Wheel
Tire Compressor
Jack
Gloves & Bag
Full Tool Kit
2 keys
Owners Manual & Leather Holder.
Thanks for your interest, PM, email: jfawsitt9@yahoo.com or phone 440.376.7037.
The car is located in Toledo, OH

It may be possible to get an EO (executive order) number for the car if you can prove and show it's equivalent to the US version emissions-wise.
The cutoff here for smog used to be rolling 25 years, years ago, but it's been stuck at 1975 or older exempt for a long time now
yes, it sucks living here for somethings.
Really nice car.

Yes other states will be OK (I think). CA requires that EPA / Federal label + that it has the factory emissions in place and required as of date of sale.

From what I've read, the emissions equipment on Japanese delivered Porsche's is very similar if not the same as the US cars depending on the year.

Very nice GLWS
One question? How did you get PCNA to issue a CofA for a Japanese car? I tried getting one for a swiss car a number of years back and they told me they could only issue them for cars imported to the US by PCNA. has this changed?

Thanks for your interest, prior to importing the car I contacted PMNA to confirm the production date of 02/92 since the car would need to be more than 25 years old when it landed in the USA to comply with the DOT waiver. I asked at the time about a COA on ROW cars and PMNA told me to go ahead and order one in the normal manner. When I placed the order I told the COA department by email to only proceed if the majority of the information was present for the certificate or cancel. They informed me it was.
