Surprised this car hasnt sold yet. I have a 2016 GTS with 1400 miles. The car is amazing, the factory Porsche sport exhaust sounds amazing, looks mean, and is incredibly nimble. With only 1200 GTS Caymans in production, very few being 6 speed manuals...this is a rare car.

It's sad, as the 981 manual Cayman S w/X73 I drove last spring was downright incredible. Any 911 would be hard pressed to keep up with it on an autocross track.

From what I see online, 911's sell at this price point around 5x faster than Caymans/Boxsters. You see a nice C4S listed at $75k, it sells in a week. You see a nice GTS 981 listed at $75k, it sells in 6 weeks. There are exceptions, but I remember a dealer had a gorgeous midnight blue metallic Cayman GTS w/turbo wheels, incredible build. It had 17k miles and they had to drop the price to $68k to sell it, it was there for a good 3 months. Unfortunately, there just isn't much demand for the 2-seaters on the used market. Maybe it is due to functionality, maybe it is due to perceived value, maybe it is due to what people think when they think of Porsche (911).

Fewer Caymans & fewer motivated sellers = higher transaction prices (as % of msrp) but slower sale times.
That said, I just took two long test drives in two different 981 GTS's... One PDK, one manual. Very impressive...

True, but a bit misleading... The $75K 991's have far more depreciation in the asking price than the Caymans. For good or for bad, 981 Cayman's of the same year are typically listed at a notably higher percentage of original sticker than equivalent year 991 cars.

Eventually the right buyer will show up. No rush...
