I think this is the nicest Corrado in the country. The color is absolutely amazing, and it drives perfectly. The car has been modified, but no expense has been spared on upgrades and maintenance. The Wavetrac LSD, Schrick 268 cams and KW V3 coilovers have completely transformed this car. Its a blast to drive and sounds amazing! Everything works: sunroof, spoiler, cruise control, AC, etc.
The car has under 67k miles, I am asking $24,000, and am located in SoCal.

The color is Brombeer metallic, and it is now my favorite car color of all time! My next project car will likely be painted this color, its so unique and beautiful. It has a lot of character and changes with the light. Doesn't look sooo purple all the time, but really pops under certain light. I love it! The paint has just been 3 stage polished/sealed and looks wet.
VW Corrado's are great cars and are very fun to drive! High quality materials used throughout, built by Karmann Coachworks in Germany where VW's most special cars were mostly hand built. This car weighs around 2700 lbs and has about 220HP/TQ. The 5 speed manual is close ratio, with a light clutch that's easy/fun to use. Very flat handling, excellent steering feel/weight. The Wavetrac LSD provides a huge amount of grip, especially with putting the power down out of the corners.
It's not perfect, and I believe in full disclosure. Here are the flaws:
2 inch scratch on rear bumper
Small popcorn kernel size dent on roof
Usual rock chips on front bumper/hood
Car was repainted in 95 due to hail damage while it was still on the dealer lot. It was done extremely well, and looks original.
Interior and Engine are flawless
Mods/Upgrades (about 7k miles old)
Wavetrac LSD
Schrick 268 Cams
Heavy Duty valve springs - revs to 7500 rpm!
GIAC Chip
Neuspeed Intake
2.9 Intake Manifold
2.9 Throttle Body
Eurosport exhaust
KW V3 fully adjustable coilovers
Front, rear and trunk mats with OEM Corrado logo
Momo Prototipo Steering Wheel
EGR and Secondary air pump deleted
Includes CA smog if needed
Work done about 5k miles ago
All suspension bushings replaced
New front control arms/bushings
Chains and guides replaced
AC recharged using OEM factory tool
Shift bushings replaced
Spark plugs and wires
OEM Sachs clutch
Stock parts included
Original Steering Wheel
Original Suspension
Original Intake Manifold
Original Throttle Body
EGR and Secondary Air Pump
Brand new in box black leather OEM Corrado shift ****
Optional parts available
Euro seat belt conversion: This car has power seatbelts. I have the manual seatbelt conversion for this car from the European models. It includes new belts, A and B pillar plastics and a new center console.
OEM French E-Code headlights in perfect condition: These lights have higher headlight output and the yellow inside light . I was waiting to put these on until I bought wheels for the car, but that never happened so they are still off the car. They are the dream headlights for these car and are impossible to find.

Is this actually a 1994? I thought in the USA they only sold up till 1993 and the 1994s were Canada and Europe only. Maybe not though, been years since I talked Corrados. Also, is this a factory color?

Wow!!
I don't know if you'll get what you want for it, but props to you for keeping it mint and for getting those awesome photos! Well done!
Takes me back. My high school auto shop teacher had one and I thought it was cool as hell since my dad said they were good.
GLWS!!

Thanks for the feedback everyone! This is a 94, which was the last year for US. Other parts of the world had them through 95. My opinions about this car are just that, my opinion. I am huge VW enthusiast and have just never seen a Corrado that I would want more than this one. I know that's very subjective, but this car has a very nice blend of originality, purist modifications, rare/awesome color, and perfect original interior. Its not a complete time capsule that you wouldn't want to drive, but pretty close.

What a beautiful example...still see some on occasion here in the summer months. I had an 1990 Audi Coupe Quattro for many...MANY years.Every Corrado I crossed paths with, waved. Agreed, an iconic example. GLWS, the home renovation too.

I wish I could keep it, because it really is the "coolest" car I've ever owned. But we already sold our 99 Eurovan camper and the Corrado needs to go as well. I want a car I can drive on the track and beat up. This car could be driven on the track, but I think its a little too nice for that.
