Happy for you Bandon911 but was hoping this one was going to be available this fall when I am back in the market. Like you, I'm actually going to be looking for a PDK because I want to use a DD. Just makes more sense to me considering my DD needs/route/traffic. Anyway, best of luck to you and hope she finds a good home !

I am strongly considering a 991.1 GTS, I would have to sell my 997.2 gts with 30K miles and PDK. Not sure what the dealer would offer for trade, but I am guessing I would do better selling to a rennlister. I love my 997.2, and have not been in a rush. I have been looking online every week for a local 991.1 to pop up. I live in Orlando and nothing has come up for sale with anything close to the spec I want in over a year. Patiently waiting, just testing the waters on selling to rennlister vs dealer. Any thoughts?

997 GTS
I was contemplating the identical issue as you. In December I actually had a deal in place for a low mileage manual coupe Carmine Red 2015 991 GTS ($160k build). The deal was my very low mileage mint Dark Blue Metallic 2012 GTS PDK vert ($130k build) and $50k (plus tax) in exchange for the 991. I did not pull the trigger - I could not justify the price difference between the two cars. The 991 was not, in my opinion, a $50k+ better car. Rather, I decided to keep my GTS, put a lift in my garage, and buy a mint low mileage red Corvette C6 ZO6 - all for nearly the same cost as purchasing the 991 GTS.
The 997 GTS prices have stabilized and seem to be creeping up a little. I now have the 911 vert/PDK AND the C6 Zo6 coupe/manual AND a lift in my garage. ALL for the same price as trading up 3 years for a 911 GTS.
