This car has just over 67K on the odometer. This is a 3 owner car (includes me).
My friend’s brother in law purchased this new back in 1986 and owned it till 2010 when he passed away.
My friend inherited it and only put 6K on over the 6yrs of His ownership. He came to me to buy it because
he knows I am a Porsche fanatic. I have had over 15 Porsche’s. I have owned the car for just under a year but it’s
time to part ways. I am restoring a 1972 911 and a 1968 911 and I need the garage space.
Here are the Specs according the original Window sticker which comes with car:
1986 944 Turbo $29,800
Grand Prix White
Leatherette/Leather
Central Locking System $263
16 Forged Alloy Wheels (FUCHS) $516
Cruise Control $326
Electric Sunroof $730
Partial Leather Front Seats $435
The total was $32,893
The car is a good Survivor. I polished up the paint and it still shines up nicely. The interior looks amazing for its age.
This car was garage kept and the dash is perfect and there is no fading in the black interior or carpet.
The door panel also look like new but are original.
Mechanically the car has new tires (less than a year old) and they have less than 1K on them. The car had a fresh
alignment and fluid flush & oil change at the same time as the tires were replaced.
The car also has a new battery (less than a year old). New rear shocks on the hatchback & new hood insulation pads.
From what I can tell the car needs the AC recharged (I have 1-2lbs of R12 in cans that I can give to the new owner).
This stuff is really hard to come by now. The car also needs a hood release latch bracket that goes inside the car
which is something like $13.95 from Pelican Parts.
Please PM with any questions or if you want more pictures.
The car is in my name and I have the pink slip in hand.
The car is located up HWY 50 about 30 Minutes from Sacramento, CA.
My Asking Price is $12,500
The June 2016 Porsche Excellence issue Price guide was:
Good $11,000 to Excellent at $13,000. This car is in-between these two. You will have a difficult time finding a Survivor that is as clean or original as this one.

Wow! This is cheap. I don't expect this one to be here too long. I'm guessing the belts need changing? If so, its still a bargain.

I did call the shop that was maintaining the car prior to my ownership.
The Timing belts and Water Pump are due. It also needs n the Power steering return line tightened or replaced. No fluid is on the garage floor so it looks like the line is just weeping.
I will start calling and PM potential buyer back this AM.
Thank you all.
