killer build!

Would this be considered a GTB3 car?
PDK swap possible?

Thanks buddy. You could absolutely retrofit it with the PDK and it would be probably be a little easier than it is on the Cayman from a wiring and coding perspective.

Unlike on a Cayman, as far as the front fender flares go, since they're from a Cup car you can run GTB3 right now with the car because the rules allow bodywork from the Cup car. This car would probably be the only competitive GTB3 car from this generation of 997.2/987.2 cars because it's capable of turning 175mph + at Daytona and can easily get into the 1:56s which the Caymans were not able to do last weekend at the PCA finale. Hopefully someone realizes that you can't build this car for close to this and that given that it has all fresh everything, it's a good deal.

I am going to lower the price to $110K/OBO and include the original fenders and rear bumper cover.

Gents,

The car is currently in my garage in NJ if anyone is interested in seeing it before I send it down to John in Florida. If there are any questions let us know. Thanks.

Default IMSA Continental Tire GS 997- Championship Car- Fully Restored

A bump back up the page for the new price. We built this car to be the ideal DE/PCA track car. Everything is new or refreshed on the car. Between John and Dougie who helped build the car we can get any questions answered.

I just decided that the logistics of a 100% track car do not work for me at this time and rather than have the car sit I would like to see someone enjoy it as it should be used. I will go back to a street car that I can take to the track. Let me know if anyone has any questions. Thanks.

Northeast snow day bump. I know it is not track day season up here yet but it will be soon! Get a fresh, optimized track car at a fraction of the build price. Open to offers! Thanks.

Lowering the price to $92.5K, OBO. A lot of folks out there looking for fresh track cars for the 2017 season. This is a great platform. I realize a lot of folks want 997 Cup cars but any Cup car priced as low as this car will need serious capital invested in freshening.

Gorgeous! I only wish...brings back many fine IMSA track days (spectator) I can only imagine how it must feel to pilot one of these ships! I know zero about the values on these but it certainly looks to be a LOT of fast Porsche for the $!! GLWS!

It was not the Rum Bum car, It was actually the #83 MOMO USA PORSCHE 997.2: 2012 Driver's Championship Winner.

Is this engine subject to the same timed hours as a Cup car?
Also what does it weigh?
Thanks

This was the car my customer purchased and we developed during 2012 and 2013. To this date, if this car was on the new sticky Continental GT slick tires, it would be a race winnder.

We have seen well over 100 hours on these motors...100+ race hours. It is by no means subject to the rebuild windows of the Cup motors. The car weighs about 2900 lbs and has a bunch of lightweight carbon bits. These numbers assume at least a half a tank of gas.
