My Story:
I got the bug last year with my first Porsche, a 2002 996. Awesome car, drove it for a year then I sold it at the start of this season searching for a 997.2 GTS or GT3. However I stumbled across this beautiful Turbo S and was smitten with the insane power delivery and one-of-a kind color combo. I immediately purchased it and took delivery on Memorial Day.
I've used the car as a daily driver on sunny days, and completed 3,700 miles over the summer. Participated in Chicago PCA concours this past Sunday and got 3rd place (brake dust!), and displayed the car at the Saturday evening street car parade at Road America for Brian Redmond Vintage Weekend. Everywhere I have gone with this car I have received nothing but positive compliments on the color combination. Photos do not do it justice and you have to see it to appreciate it.
I've got my eye on a manual GT car and am currently working a couple deals. I would love to see this car stay in the Rennlist community vs trading it, so I've posted here to see what kind of interest the car receives before possibly, reluctantly trading it in. Ideal scenario is a pass through for tax purposes.
I believe I've priced this fair given the options, color, history, etc. If you're seriously interested, let's talk. Thanks for looking.
History:
- 1st owner was Boston Red Sox Pitcher Daiskue Matsuzaka (he signed the glove box http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...1-turbo-s.html)
- 2nd owner between FL/NY
- I'm 3rd owner - IL
- All original paint
- No accidents
- No snow, caught in rain a couple times but hey, it's water!
- No track usage
Services (have all records):
- 18,700 miles: Coolant flush, brake flush, PDK transmission flush, air filter, cabin filter
- 16,000 miles: 4 new Bridgestone Potenza S-04 tires + OEM pressure sensors
- 15,700 miles: Oil & filter
- 9,900 miles: Oil & filter
- 3,000 miles: Aftermarket K40 install
- Have OEM spark plugs and drive belt in hand, but haven't installed yet
- Have service records from 3,000 miles onward in hand
Aftermarket:
- K40 stealth installation (front sensor mounted to bumper, and rear sensor is mounted on plate frame, controlled by remote)
- Clear bra front bumper, 1/4 of front fenders, 1/4 of hood
- XM Receiver installed in glovebox, with antenna attached on dashboard
Minor Issues:
- Stone chip in passenger front fender through clear bra. Needs removal and touch up - this just happened
- Minor cut in Drive a-pillar leather when I received it
- Passenger Rear bumperette slightly indented when I received the car - hard to tell, but if you look for it in the photos you'll see it
- Front black plastic lip has typical scuffs
- Glove box was autographed in permanent marker. I have a clean replacement glovebox in hand that I haven't installed.
Final details:
Title in hand. Any sale will be facilitated by the dealer so I may retain tax credit on the next vehicle. PPI at buyer expense, and there are several Porsche dealers or independent shops in my area that I can easily take the car to at a moment's notice.
Cheers,
Seneca

These pictures do not do this beautiful TTS justice...the taracota interior and cream exterior stands out to one of those color combinations that has people to do a double take.... Seeing is believing.
Seneca you're letting a gorgeous car go and someone out there is going to buy a true prize!!! Best to you and GLWS!!! JB

I tried removing it, but it's permanent.
I purchased the one and only Terracotta glovebox available online to swap out, and keep the signed globebox with the car to go with its history.
I was planning to do the swap over the winter, but a couple of GT cars sprung up recently that fit my criteria prompting me to move quickly. I can post pics of the 2nd glovebox when I'm at work tomorrow.
Thanks again Steve. I'm going to keep my cards close and if/when things materialize, I'll show my hand!

That is a damn fine looking TT! Love the colour combination. Incredible.
GLWS. And who knows, you may run that bone-jarring, filling-loosening, ear-drum popping, track-rippin' lust out of your blood and be back on the TT hunt in a couple of years!
