I am new to these forums and thought I would post this for sale.

I am open to trades for this. I also an not afraid of a project or a car that needs some work. I am looking to get a 996 after this car. I will post more pictures when the weather clears up and I can pull it outside. If anyone wants to see something particular let me know and I can send something over.

I have spent the last two years building this car and have had it out on the track twice this year. However my plans have changed and as I want to continue doing track days I need something for the street as well. The car was built for NASA GTS 2 (restricted) or can run competitively in 3 as well. The car weighs 2650 pounds with ¼ tank of fuel.

The body is a 95 M3. It was a one owner car with only 70k miles on it. It was an unbelievably clean shell that was always kept in a garage. Every last square inch of this car has been meticulously gone through and in perfect condition. Pretty much every single part on this car has been upgraded with the highest quality parts or replaced with new OEM parts. Many parts have been custom machined and I still have the Solidworks models for them. It is 100% track ready.

The details of the build and I’m sure I’m leaving something out…

Engine/Transmission/Driveline
• S52 Engine from a 1998 M3 Automatic (No over revs) zero track time this motor
• OBD1 Conversion with S50 intake manifold, valve cover, and coil packs (cleaner look)
• S52 Injectors
• TRM chip for OBD1 S52, Lightweight flywheel, EWS delete and speed sensor delete
• Mishimoto aluminum race radiator
• Custom laser cut restrictor plate set with 12 different size restrictor plates
• Custom aluminum and fully TIG welded expansion tank
• Stainless headers
• Full custom TIG welded 3” stainless exhaust with Magnaflow muffler- probably the best sounding e36 I have ever heard
• VAC motorsports weld in oil pan baffles
• Safety wired oil pump nut
• Power steering line upgrade
• ZF 5 Speed from an M3 (filled with Motul fluid)
• Custom Short shifter with custom linkage. (Stainless shifter, delrin ****, solid swivel bearing pivot point, and custom double shear shift linkage.) This set up is all custom machined and has absolutely zero slop in the shift pattern.

• Custom machined aluminum solid motor mounts
• Custom machined aluminum solid transmission mounts
• LSD 3.91 Rear differential
• Upgraded 96+ M3 rear hollow axles
• Custom machined solid aluminum differential mounts
• Custom machined solid rear sub frame mounts

Suspension/Sway Bars/Brakes
• BC racing RM type coilovers
• Adjustable camber plates
• 750 in/lb front springs 900 in/lb rear springs

• Full 6 point roll cage. This is a very well built cage. It is fully TIG welded, with gussets everywhere. There is extra roof bars, nascar bars on both doors, X in the main hoop, X in the rear down bars, seat mounts tied into the cage, bracing to A and B pillars.
• Steering column mounted to roll cage
• Momo driver and passenger seat
• G Force 6 point cam-lock belts (driver belt 2 years old, passenger 1 year)
• G Force window net
• G Force center net with quick release
• Kill Switch
• Fire suppression systems with pull handle type activation. FIA approved 4.0 liter bottle with 4 nozzles in cabin, 2 in engine bay.
• Sparco suede steering wheel with quick release
• Custom Short shifter with custom linkage. (Stainless shifter, delrin ****, solid swivel bearing pivot point, and custom double shear shift linkage.) This set up is all custom machined and has absolutely zero slop in the shift pattern.
• RacePak data logging and dash display system- linked to all engine functions, fuel, and engine temp.
• Custom wire harness (every wire that does not need to be in the car has been fully removed. The harness could not be any similar at all)

Nice race car! Can it also race with SCCA?

You should also post a link to this in the Racing and DE Forum.

I really am not to up to date on the SCCA rules but I don't see any reason why you couldn't. I know all the safety gear meets SCCA requirements.

I am taking this car to New Jersey Motorsports Park October 15 with NASA. If there is interest we can work something out with a possible test drive. I would consider working something out to let a potential buyer use it for ame HPDE day there (with some sort of deposit)

What a great car - I'd buy this in a minute if my GT3 was sold. Good luck with this sale. If my GT3 sells you'll hear from me.
