I purchased this S2000 last year from the original owner in San Antonio who had driven it only 6300 miles in 10 years. He was an older retired servicemember who really babied the car, and in fact had never even let the car see rain. The car was driven so little that I had to replace the original tires, which had expired.
Since I've owned it, I've performed the following maintenance on it.
6/3/15 - Transmission fluid (Honda MTF)
6/13/15 - Oil and filter (~7k miles, Mobil 1 10w30 synth)
6/17/15 - Tires (Michelin Pilot Super Sports)
7/1/15 - Battery
7/18/15 - Rear differential fluid (~8k miles, Mobil 1 75w90)
7/25/15 - Modifry top strap replacement, brake fluid, clutch fluid
11/7/15 - Alignment
11/21/15 - Oil and filter (~13k miles, Mobil 1 10w30 synth)
5/21/16 - Oil and filter (~18k miles, Mobil 1 10w30 synth)
7/16/16 - Cabin filter
As it stands, the car is mechanically perfect. The previous owner, for some reason, decided to do a few modifications to the car, however I still have all of the original parts. He added aftermarket Tanabe anti-sway bars, a tower stress brace, K&N FIPK air intake, AP1 coil pack cover, and aftermarket cooling hoses. Again, I have all of the original parts still. Since I've owned it, I've added 35% tint, and an aux cable setup for the radio. This can be removed as well.
The interior is the cleanest of any S2000 I've ever seen. All seat bolstering is still plump and firm, and there are no tears, scratches, or dimples in the seats.
The vinyl top is original, and again, is the cleanest of any S2000 I've seen. Not only is the car garaged, but I have a California pop-top that I cover the top with when I'm out playing golf for example. This top does not show any wear at all. There are no rips, tears, or rub spots on it.
The front license plate was not drilled into the bumper. There are little plugs to cover the pre-existing holes when not in use.
The car will come with the original OEM dust cover, tonneau cover (to cover the top when it is down), S2000 specific windshield sun shade, and the California pop-top.
A good chunk of the mileage (approximately 3,000-4,000 miles is from a single road trip that I took to the grand canyon). This car has never been tracked or autocrossed at all. As stated above, the car never saw rain pre-2015, and has seen minimal rain since then.
The bad:
1) There is a lot of gravel on the roads in south Texas. I have had Safelite come out twice to repair rock chips on my windshield. I also have installed a Lamin-S clear bra on the front to help prevent rock damage to the paint. This has, for the most part, saved the paint. There are a few tiny paint imperfections though closer to the windshield, on the hood, but nothing major. I have photos. The installation of the clear bra itself was also not perfect, but it never bothered me because its sole job is to protect the paint, which it has done. I can remove it if you're interested.
2) The right soft-top latch rattles a bit. This is common with S2000s.
3) Tires have about 50-60% tread left over.
4) One of the side strakes is missing a piece of fastening hardware. It is securely attached by other redundant hardware, but I cannot buy this single missing piece anymore from Honda without purchasing the entire side strake kit.
I can't think of anything else right now. I have all the receipts, keys, etc. I'm selling it because I'm thinking about getting into another Cayman.
The car is located in Laredo, TX. Asking $24,000. Title is clean. I have many more photos if you're interested.

Had a 2004 S2K for 11 years and 275K miles. Best car I have ever owned, P-car included. Would have bought this car, but I just bought another S2K in in July. GLWS.

had two s2000 in the past, 2006 laguna blue, and 2005 silverstone metallic just like yours. with Red/Black interior. I can't say enough how nice these cars are. They always have a place in my heart.
