You are absolutely correct! The wheels are Kinesis. I was told by the seller 4 years ago that they were made by Champion and never noticed the brand stamped on the wheels. Thanks for letting me know. Walt

Price drop to $94,000. This car is mechanically perfect and cosmetically beautiful. It needs nothing. This is the car for someone who wants a 996 GT2 that they won't be afraid to drive. An added bonus; an OEM Porsche Tequipment stainless steel roll bar is included, not yet installed.

Additional photos of the car with OEM Porsche GT2 wheels in black. This car is ready to enjoy as was intended as a dual purpose machine; unmodified mechanicals and body, fresh comprehensive service, street wheels and track wheels, roll bar. Needs nothing but a new home.

Gorgeous and love the "drivers", similar to my GT3 at 43k. Congrats on getting some real miles on this!

Thanks etchead. We are on the same page. The GT3 and GT2 are special cars that were designed as true dual purpose machines to be used for high performance driving events as well as for the street. There is room in the car hobby for lots of different car collecting philosophies so I have no problem with those who choose not to expose their collector cars to the potential risks of the street or the track. That's just not how I choose to experience my cars. I am very fortunate to have many special and exotic cars and all of them get used for runs to Costco and Home Depot as well as 1000 mile trips and I have driven all of them on track days. Yes they develop a "patina" but they are so much fun to drive! I suspect you agree. Right now I just have too many cars (12) and have decided to deaccession the newer ones (from this century) and keep the older ones. It's a nice problem to have. Cheers, W
