I bought this 944 turbo about a year and two months ago, from a car dealership in Chicago. It was portrayed as a 29K mile Porsche in excellent condition. Needless to say, the car was less than I thought. I paid 12.5k Plus shipping for the vehicle. I didn't have a PPI done. I learned a valuable lesson. I'll describe the car in sections and will explain the good parts and bad parts, what I have done, and what will be needed to put it back in shape.
I wish I had more time to get the car back in shape. But with me working 60+ hours a week and a family it's just not going to happen. I know I'm going take a loss, but the car just sitting in my garage doesn't do any good for me.
Engine:
I had the timing belt and water pump replaced prior to delivery. The engine is overall pretty clean except for seepage around the oil pan area. I noticed that everything looked to be original including the vacuum lines. I pull the intake and replace all vacuum lines, including the hard lines and the check valve. I replace the heater control valve. I rebuilt the fuel injectors. I put a new fuel pressure regulator are on. I placed a new check valve on the fuel pump. I replace the spark plugs and put on Lindsey racing wires. I replace the distributor cap. The engine wires are pliable. It appears that the head was taken off at one time because there's new exhaust nuts. I placed a brand-new battery in the car. The engine starts immediately and idles fine.
The power steering rack was leaking and the line coming from the reservoir was also. I replace the reservoir and the feedline to the power steering pump. I have a rebuilt power steering rack that needs be put in the car. The power steering rack will come with the car.
The car drives overall straight pulls a little bit to the right under braking , haven't quite figure out what's wrong. I noticed the rear shocks were soft. The vehicle come with new rear shocks that needs to be installed.
Interior:
The interior appears to be original. The seats have a very little wear. Except for one little hole in the driver seat bottom. No bolster wear. This is one of the reasons why I believe the mileage. The interior appears to be totally original. Except, for the aftermarket stereo unit. There's a crack in the dash. the stick shift leather needs to be replaced. All items on the steering wheel lever doesn't work, except for the highbeam. I was going to replace the lever with a used one. Never got a chance to buy the lever. The sunroof open. The rear hatch doesn't.
Exterior:
This is where most of my disappointment came when I receive the car. In the pictures it look pristine.
The vehicle has had a very cheap paint job done. It's flaking around trim and corners. The lower valance was chipped and appeared to have some damage that was poorly repaired. I had a local body shop repair the valance. On the rear end where the turbo label is, there was a small dent, I had the body man fix that also. I believe the car had damage done to the passenger door. It was repaired, but poorly and the window does not go up or down. The driver side mirror is extremely loose. I bought a good used one and got some guards red single stage paint. I never got to install it. The mirror and paint will come with the car. The driver side door is hard to open. Have a good use doorhandles that will come with the car.
The front tires have decent thread life left. The rears were pretty worn and I replaced them with brand-new tires.
I'm probably being brutally honest, but I want to pretrade the car exactly how it is. I rather just lick my wounds and sell the car to somebody who will get it back in shape.
Please feel free to ask any questions. I am open to offers.

I'll work on my description when I get off work today. I don't have a lot of great documentation but I can't believe that's probably close to accurate because of the condition of the interior and the engine when I worked on it. But I'll get a whole description up here later on.
