This is the 930 Slantnose that you have been waiting for! It is in incredible condition inside and out, has been owned and maintained by a Porsche Club fanatic since 1999, was nicely upgraded at significant expense to run much stronger than a stock 911 Turbo, and is not a 930 that you would be afraid to drive since it is a slantnose conversion. This car was traded on a new Boxster at the Porsche dealer in Austin, TX in 1998 in nearly the same condition that it sits today. The previous owner spent tens of thousands upgrading this 930 both mechanical and cosmetically to make it one of the best looking 930's on the road (perhaps I am a bit biased). I have enjoyed it, meticulously maintained it, and done my best to ensure that it is as nice as car for the next owner as it has been for me.

Below is a list of modifications that were commissioned by the previous owner, before the car was traded in with 60K miles on the odometer:
Steel Slantnose conversion (not a cheap fiberglass kit)
Andial 3.4l twin plug
Mahle pistons/cylinders
Carrera RSR camshafts
Andial Fuel Enrichment Module with cockpit adjustment ****
Extrude-honed/port and polished heads
Andial intercooler with digital cockpit gauge and a selector to display the temperature of either end of the intercooler or the difference
B&B Tri Flo twin outlet headers and exhaust system
K27 turbo with 1.0 bar waste gate spring
Sachs upgraded clutch
Kinesis K20 3-piece 17" wheels with spacers for a more aggressive stance
Weltmeister 27mm rear tubular torsion bars

The factory options of this 930 which can be verified on the Certificate of Authenticity are the following:
Leather steering wheel with raised hub
Sport seats
Alarm system
Limited slip differential
Power sunroof

Not only have I had this 930 maintained by some of the best Porsche technicians in Dallas over the past 16+ years, but I have also added a few items over the years:
Custom metal center caps that were fabricated to match the Kinesis wheels perfectly
Custom interior door handles with the Porsche crest
Brey-Krause fire extinguisher mount with an Amerex Halon fire extinguisher
Custom Lloyds floor mats with "turbo" logo
Rear mat with the Porsche crest designed to cover the back of the seats when they are folded down
Colgan nose bra and mirror bras
Porsche indoor/outdoor car cover
Optima sealed battery with C-Tek battery tender installed

Included are two master keys, owner's manual, original spare, original took kit, original air pump, and a tire pressure gauge. I have a stack of service records dating back to the 1990's. I just had the oil changed, the fuel filter replaced, and both front and rear hood/decklid shocks replaced. Also included are a handful of bulb and fuses as well as a few random parts I have acquired over the years.

I consider the condition to be exceptional for the age of the vehicle. A pre-purchase inspection is welcome for qualified buyers. This vehicle is being sold as-is with no warranty. The body and paint are in very good condition. There have of course been a few chips over the years that have been professionally touched up. With the exception of the slantnose kit which obviously required painting, it is believed that all remaining paint is original. The Carfax and Autockeck reports are clean. Please provide your e-mail address and I will be happy to forward a copy of each. The only item on the car that I can say is deficient is the stereo system. The speakers are likely original (they sound like it). The radio works, but the CD player was not when I last tried it. This is a car that inspires you to leave the radio off and to simply enjoy the symphony of noises that only an air-cooled 911 Turbo can produce!

I welcome any questions that you may have and will do my best to answer them in a timely manner. I am not interested in any trades.

Thank you,

John

Nice car, good luck with sale-

Pretty funny it was traded in on a new Boxster back in 1998... Probably an $8k car at this point, if still on the road

Just assuming most will not want to put too many miles on a factory slant these days

Price reduction...$79,999.

Can someone explain to me how to change the pricing in the original listing itself (assuming that is possible? I cannot seem to figure it out. Thank you.

It is a steel nosed conversion. As mentioned, I acquired the car pretty much as it sits today so I am unsure as to whether factory parts were used.
