We acquired the car from its 3rd owner whom has always gone above and beyond with maintenance, prep and rebuilds. If the car needed something, it always got it from very reputable shops. The car has had track time during its life but has NEVER been club raced, and was primarily auto-crossed with the PCA. The matching numbers engine was recently rebuilt to 3.8L to the tune of $15,000 by the Black Forest Porsche shop in San Diego and produces 280hp at the wheels on pump gas. It feels like most of the 964's on the market are people trying to make a huge profit on turbos or RSAs. There are few normal C2's and C4's for sale, comparatively. I can't imagine that's reflective of the relative production numbers?
