2004 Porsche 40th Anniversary Edition 911; a limited edition of only 1963 units worldwide offered for sale is # 946 of 1963. Original window sticker on this car was over $96,000. Currently has 88,000 miles but this will change as the car is my daily driver. Car has never been in an accident, has been meticulously maintained with all work done by local Porsche independent mechanic shop and ALL maintenance documented and records kept. Clean CarFax and title is in hand along with two original keys and remotes, original never used spare tire and tool kit. Car has had had all maintenance done regularly always adhering to Porsche maintenance schedule and many wear items have been replaced proactively for preventive maintenance. Solid driver, strong engine, suspension and needs nothing but a new driver.

This rare car that came with numerous special options from the factory:
Factory X51 engine power kit (345hp)
Limited slip differential
Sport suspension
Full leather interior with special natural leather color / texture
GT Silver color exterior
Special edition lightened and shot peened 18" Carrera rims
Optional Bose digital sound system which includes 10 speakers + 2 sub-woofers behind the back seats
Optional GT Silver color matched front seats (heated)

This car also has had the following upgrades installed by either Porsche dealer or Porsche certified mechanic at independent shop:

IMS (Intermediate Shaft) replaced with ceramic IMS bearing
Porsche X74 Sport Suspension installed at 60k miles (VERY hard to get and expensive if you can even find one. This one took me over a year to acquire but really transforms car)
2010 GT3 shifter installed (shorter more solid throw, metal on metal bearings)
Porsche Sport exhaust mod by FisterD (gives it a throatier exhaust note especially over 5000rpm but is quiet when you are off the gas)
Turbo front lip for more aggressive look up front (OEM Porsche)
Radiator intakes and front air intake plasticoated matte black
RSS semi-solid motor mounts
FF1 "yellow" transmission insert
Lloyd custom color matched floor mats w/ PORSCHE logo
7% Tinted windows (redone mid 2015)
Custom painted GT Silver "non-smoker" kit in place of ashtray
Promount custom iPhone 6 holder w/ built in charger and dual USB 2.1 in place of cigarette lighter
Das Shield hood liner

Maintenance history all performed by Porsche certified mechanic at independent shop:
Car has received all scheduled maintenance as per Porsche regular maintenance schedule 5+ years I have owned it. Oil changes done every 4,000 - 5,000 miles using only Mobile 1 synthetic 5w40 and sample of oil from every oil change has been sent to Blackstone Labs for testing. All reports have been excellent and will be provided for your records.

Updated maintenance as of March 2016:
Last oil change performed 12/04/2015
new rear Sumitomo HTR Z III tires installed 02/25/2016
Road force high speed balanced and 4 wheel alignment done to OEM GT3 Spec 02/25/2016

Last maintenance items @ 75,000 miles:
New slotted rotors and OEM Porsche pads on all 4 corners
New stainless steel brake lines
4 Sumitomo HTR Z III tires installed (235/40ZR18 fronts and 295/30ZR18 rears) rears have 100% tread last will be replaced 02/25/2016 fronts are about 60% last replaced 02/27/15
Road force high speed balanced and 4 wheel alignment done to OEM GT3 Spec
Oil / oil filter replaced along with OEM oil filter housing
Flushed brake fluid / clutch fluid (replaced with Porsche OEM fluid)
Flushed transmission and differential oil (replaced with Porsche OEM fluid)
New Air and Cabin filters
New Wipers (OEM Porsche)
Major Maintenance at 60,000 miles along with preventive maintenance items replaced at same time:
New spark plugs
New Clutch pack (OEM Porsche)
New throw out bearing (OEM Porsche)
Oil change performed
Flushed brake fluid / clutch fluid (replaced with Porsche OEM fluid)
Flushed transmission and differential oil (replaced with Porsche OEM fluid)
New accessory belt (OEM Porsche)
New Air and Cabin filters
New battery (Sears Diehard)
Replaced air oil separator (OEM Porsche)
Replaced radiator overflow tank (OEM Porsche)
Water pump and thermostat replaced (OEM Porsche)
New engine mounts installed (RSS)
Transmission insert (FF1 "yellow")
New rear dog bones (Torque Solutions)
New rubber bushings all around (OEM Porsche)

Known issues:
Some small rock chips on hood and nose, few dings from careless drives in parking lots. Probably needs a respray on, roof / sunroof and starting to lose some rear deck above 3rd light. South Florida sun has taken its toll on the clear coat in those areas. Overall paint is probably a 7/10 and rest of car looks good for it's age and I am being VERY conservative tough on my grading. I have chosen not to respray and allow new owner to decide what to do with it.
Front lip has some scrapes, again South Florida roads, pot holes, steep curb transitions are tough to maneuver at times
Sunroof "one-touch" does not work you have to hold button to open or close it.
Drivers seat heater does not turn on.

Meticulous maintenance records and parts records will all be provided in leather binder along with two remotes and keys, also set of 4 Victor Innsbruck rims in matte black, black center caps and set of black OEM Porsche lugs. I can answer any questions and provide answers in detail. Car is priced fairly to sell quickly, I have clear title in hand and am ready to sell to a qualified and serious buyer but am in no rush to do so. Please email or text have any questions as I intimately know car and it's history. I also have many more pictures I can send so call, text or email me.

Some clarifications as I keep getting asked about.
X74 suspension, LSD, X51 engine option, GT3 shifter are NOT 3rd party modifications these are OEM Porsche items. The RSS engine mounts are basically equivalent to OEM GT3RS mounts just "prettier" if you could see them. The only true non OEM modifications done to car are RSS mounts, FF1 yellow transmission inserts, FiterD exhaust mod, LNE ceramic bearing and oh yes the orange cap mod

Great car for the money. one of my favorite 911 to date. I would say it is almost impossible to find better stock performance at this price in the 911 family. GLWTS.

Looks great, but post more pictures! That's a lot of car for the $$$, IMHO. I've always liked the 40th ed. 996s for some reason...

Yep, all pictures are on the way I have had a lot of interest and sent out a bunch together so I have a feeling OS X Mail is choking on a few outgoing emails as I type.

Yes, I made a 1/2 assed attempt to sell it last year but never really followed through on it. Have had as they say several life changes in last year so I am looking to sell. As for what next I am looking at getting into some type of 4x4 which one I am not yet decided on. I know, I know but I will be back of that I am sure, LOL.

I owned one of these beauties and loved every minute of driving it and or staring at it in the garage, gorgeous cars! I bought mine back in 2005 it had only 1k on the clock so was as close to new as a used car could be, never owned a new pcar after that switched to air cooled but still remember driving this car was perhaps the finest driving car i've ever owned. GLW your Sale and many happy miles to the new owner!

I had one too and think these cars are really under valued. The only way to get LSD in a 996.2 besides at gt3 and maybe gt2. The power kit, turbo bumper, full leather interior and special color really make this car unique.
