Many things have changed since some of the pictures were taken. Roll bar has been modified and stock seats installed. Easier access and full seat range of motion. Videos are all accurate.
Interesting trades considered. I have not room and need something more modern. I hate to sell it since I have owned it for the last 22 years, but times change. It needs a good home. In Denver CO at this time.

Thanks. I and this car used to live just up the road in Winstead. It wasn't as nice then, and certainly not a good car for the winters in CT, but in the summer it can't be beaten. One of the nicest 914's to be found. This is a great deal too, I just need the right person.

At this rate it may be around for a while. Winter is coming here in CO, so it will be stored and on stands shortly. Hopefully a few more drives before then.

So I was just browsing this evening and went to www.aircooledtechnology.com to see what was going on there. Jake never put prices on the site in the past as each motor was created and quoted individually. He now has a rough price up for each motor combination. The motor in this car (an updated version with FI, but the same basic motor) is listed at $23,500. If you want a 914 that is mechanically well sorted and put together, but needs some finishing cosmetically (if that is your thing), then I'm basically giving you this car for less than the motor costs today. It only has 14000 miles on it and the motor is built to run for 60-70000. So 5000 miles a year and you still have 9-11 years left. It kills me, but I need to move on, so someone give it a good home.
