Sadly, it is time to let my beloved 930 go to a new home. As much as I love the car, I have three other major projects going on right now and have to devote my time, energy, and most importantly cash to those three.
Here's the story with the car:
The car just turned 80,000 miles, and is a FANTASTIC driver. Shortly after purchasing the car last year, I noticed a broken headstud. Instead of just replacing the headstuds, I proceeded to have the top end of the motor rebuilt by Art Arredondo, with ARP headstuds and everything else OEM. While I was in there, I had the transmission gone through by Marty Mehterian (VDS), as well as new oil lines, gas lines, suspension, alignment etc etc. The car needs nothing right now other than a new home.
I have over ~$17,000 in receipts for all of the work.
I have put around 1,000 miles on the car since the top end, but suffice to say it is healthy and pulls stroooong. A well versed friend drove the car a couple weeks ago and said it was one of the best 930's he has driven.
The car is dry - no rust, tight, and fun. Located in Southern California.
The car its Guards Red over Tan, and a couple things have been changed: The exhaust, the steering wheel, and the radio. I have the original parts for ALL THREE. I have also added a short shift kit to clean up the sloppyness.
