Purchased from Mercedes of Annapolis 1/08/2013 with 3847 miles,
after original owner traded it in on a MB. Currently 6566 miles, so
I have put only 2719 miles during my ownership.

In Service Date - 9/29/2011 . No accidents, no mechanical or paint issues.

Audi Care - Maintenance Program. I purchased 'Audi Care' in 2013
which covers the first 4 maintenance be it 4 years or 45 thousand miles.

Full Service History available.

First time advertised for sale. Priced to sell this week at US$94000.
I have around $120,000 invested in the vehicle as it sits. Need room
in my small Carmel garage for my new 'Signal Green' 991 gt3!

No PTS here. 'Lava Grey' was an available
R8 color in MY2011. Unfortunately, it is no
longer offered - which makes this combo quite
rare. It's truly a killer combination with 'Amulet
Red' leather interior and needs to be seen in
person!

The special details - alcantara steering wheel
from a factory 'R8 gt', alcantara knee pad,
'Amulet Red' leather interior, etc. - are just
me. I just can't help being fastidious about
my interiors...and as attractive as I can make
them (even when I didn't order this car from
new).

I think this is a great value for a sports car- of course I'm a sucker for mid-engine manual tranny cars. The extended warranty via a Audi dealer isn't that bad imo.. ( i picked up a 6yr/60k warranty for $2,800 on my v10 spyder.)

Fyi- I just watched an 08 coupe - r-tronic go for mid $80's from the dealership I got my R8..

This is 3 yrs newer + spyder + a manual for the same money. you can ride in this car awhile and not lose much...

The manual is the key part.. could make it go up in value.

never. know. - it will at least be worth much more than the auto cars.. from my pov. as the latest and greatest auto box is out available except NO MANUALS!!! if you want a manual you have to buy this gen car.

You are correct. Those in the know realize that the alternative R-Tronic*
automated transmission for the early R8s had a reputation for NOT being
very 'smooth'. And since Audi will not make any more 'manual' transmission
R8s in the future (nor V8 for the time being too!), this could a vehicle that
might soon start going up the other way (e.g. appreciating). Unfortunately,
I just don't have the room, or an unlimited car $ budget, to justify having
TWO expensive sport cars that I rarely use in my small tandem garage!
Or so my wife has told me. :icon501:

So this beautiful R8 Spyder is going away this week, either via a private
sale to one of you...or to the Audi dealer. That is why I have priced it for
a quick sale.

Thank you Edwin, but as I explained to you yesterday via email,
a Rennlister from the Chicago area has purchased the vehicle.
Funds were transferred into my account this morning so the
sale is final. Owner & wife picking it up on Tuesday. So all is
'good'. Thanks to all others for their interest. I knew this would
be a good deal for someone that understands the appeal of the
Audi R8 Spyder - a unique combination of performance & good
looks.
