no...not in the five years we've owned it and no sign of that when I bought it...that's what unique about this car...its original...I bought it for him to take to college...overkill > yes! So it sat in his garage a lot...its posted on Craig's List in the SF Bay Area section..more input wanted? I can have Travis call you..

You can pick up 05 m3 for less than this, you sir must be talking salvaged/smg/convertible cars.

Three Wheelin'
I sold a 2007 WRX STi last Fall in preparation of buying my 996TT, and I pretty much got back what I paid for it in '10 (low 20s). They are indeed holding their value well..

I had an '05 STI. I traded it in on a BMW 335i. What a mistake. I missed that car. They hold their value incredibly well. I bought a 2013 in the fall of 2012, and just gave it to my son. He loves that car. I'd take it over an '05 M3 anytime. If my 5 car garage wasn't already full, I'd take it!

Also had one of these. Miss it every day. Only problem was piston ring-land failure. This car never being modded probably is ok. I've got a 2015 WRX as my daily now. Subaru makes great cars. And if you do want to go faster, an exhaust and a tune gets you a ton of extra power. GLWS
