I bought a 1968 non sunroof 912 roller a few years back, from the original owner, with the intent to restore it and put a 911 engine in it. Recent events have made me realize that I have more cars than I have time to fix them. So I am parting with the 912. I realize that it is a fairly good car for restoration, and is complete. The only things missing are the engine, the transmission, the original steering wheel, and the original wheels. Everything else is there. It also has a set of 912 hubcaps, a set of 911 motor mounts, a 911 tach, a 911 oil cooler, a 911 oil tank and a set of 73 911 SSI heat exchangers with it. I also have a full set of carpeting and a pair of used 68 doorpads that are better than the ones on the car.

It does have rust in the floor pans and the rockers. But nothing that can't be fixed. You can see it in the pictures. The car has always lived in Texas, but it has been lots of places with the original owner.

Based on research on here and on Rennlist, I am asking $8500.00. It seems like a fair price considering that there are rollers with no interior or front fenders going for $6000.00. I will also consider trades for a 3.2 Carrera engine with all the conversion parts (wiring, DME, Tach, etc) or a 3.6 964 motor with all the conversion parts.

Please someone save this one. I hate to see it "return to the earth from which it came" just sitting behind my house when it could be out driving again
