I'm not the owner, but answers below (taken from my reading of this thread):

Yes. He has a 2015 on order that he spec'd out as he pleased, and will be doing Euro Delivery. So, he's got to sell his 2014 to make room for it.

Practically every 2014 991.1 GT3 had to have its engine replaced under the Stop Sale and subsequent Mandatory Recall.

Rest assured that the new engines are of the same caliber as what's in the 2015's. Also, in this particular car, the engine was replaced before delivery, so it's not the same as the post-delivery recalls.
