Up for lease trade is my brand new 2013 Porsche C2S in guards red on black interior. The options on the car are premium package, aero kit, 20" Carrera Classic wheels, ventilated seats, Bose infotainment system, 14 way power seats, glass roof, and a 7spd manual transmission. I just never fell in love with the car and I think I need to move on, my loss is your gain.

My lease is 721 a month (cheapest 911 payment you will find)for 24 months (ending September 2015) 10,000 miles per year. Asking 9,000 down and you must have perfect credit. PM for more information if interested.

Seems like the down payment makes it the cheapest payment. But nice car.

I imagine then OP had to put down a chunk of dough to get the payment that low - more than $9k, no?

He means huge risk for the seller most likely. Typically the seller is still on the hook if the buyer defaults on the lease. Almost like a co signer.

I never understood the logic of putting all this money down on a lease. Is it to make you feel better when writing the check for monthly payment?

Yes, Zirrah is correct. HUGE risk for the seller. Needs to make sure the buyer has excellent credit, won't walk, or crash & burn.

This must be specific to PFS leases, I would imagine in most cases; once you transfer the lease you are off the hook.

Perhaps OP should consider calling PFS, obtaining the quote to buy out the car and try to sell the car outright. Best of luck either way. Beautiful car.
