Track alignment
Oil sample tested with very good results
I have done 10 track days at Summit Point Raceway; all the work and money that I've into this car was well worth it. This car is completely reliable and it is hooked up! The cornering speeds exceeds stock 997.1 GT3's. The stock Carrera S 3.8L engine has a wide powerband and produces ample mid-range toque for strong drives out of corners. However, despite of the strong corner exit of this car the GT3's eventually pull away on long straights. But it is so much fun and easy to drive!
The engine is original, all stock, it has never missed a beat on street and track. I change the oil after every 3 track days using Redline synthetic. Furthermore, the overkill cooling system ensures extra engine safety/reliability. The gear oil has also been changed with Redline. And the brake fluid flushed with Motul RBF600. The clutch hydraulic has also been bleed. I spend countless hours in the evenings and weekends meticulously working on this car with knowledge acquired from our racing program. I made sure everything was done to the best possible. This is a dynamite track car, its a blast to drive, and one good looking street car, especially at this price range. This car is fully street legal and fully emissions legal. PASM, PSM, and ABS are fully functional.
The asking for a fair price is $39,500. Will consider reasonable offers. There's over $20K in recently installed upgrade parts! This car drives so insanely good that I don't have any more words to describe. Please call TPC Racing and ask for me(Tom Chan) if you have any questions about this car. 410-799-7223. Ranger,
Thanks. I am a tinkerer and I get itchy when I don't have any personal projects. At this point I am completely satisfied with the chassis. The engine is running flawlessly but I have been wanting to rebuilding it to a 12:1 compression 4.0L with X51 intake manifold and heads. It'll cost me about $20K to do that. So, I could either go through with this plan to build a torque monster engine on this killer chassis or replace the car with a 997.2 Carrera S or GTS and duplicate the chassis and aero that I have now. I'm really digging the tech innovations on the 9A1 engine. If no one bites then I will proceed with plan A.
Regards,
Tom

No. Stock open diff. Adding a LSD would be icing on a already delicious cake
Seriously, I have experimented with a number of spring rates, bar settings, and geometry changes to the point that this car transfers weight very nicely with minimal body roll. The inside tires stay very much planted so corner exit traction is not an issue. That is until I put a 4.0 motor in it.
