Wow, that wrap is incredible! I've never seen or heard of a wrap that can look so much like paint - it must have been extremely expensive and time consuming.

Re: lease transfer - I too looked into this. The added risk is with the lessor (Teebo) not the lessee. PFS will approve or deny based on lessee's credit. Whomever leases this will have no additional risk whatsoever. One way to reduce some of the risk for poster is to do a 1 pay. $1,250 x 18 mos = $22,500. Pretty reasonable if you ask me.

Default I have to agree with TT Surgeon

I almost went down this path with my 911GTS Cab until I realized the guy I was dealing with was a total con artist. Things to think about:

1) they can drive your car and never pay the bill. Good luck trying to get it back and if you do probably not the way you gave it to them.

2) They know their liability is limited and you are ultimately the one Porsche is coming after...make no mistake of that. They are unlikely to make repairs to damage that will cost you big bucks if and when they turn it in.

3) And the worse case scenario. They are in a catastrophic accident and all of a sudden you are being sued as a joint owner of the vehicle. Worse yet the guy who scammed could find a reason to sue you as well.

Nothing good can come out of this. The only time to ever consider a lease assumption is if the lienholder is willing to write you off the lease altogether.

BETTER OPTION: You state that you need another car for personal reasons. Trade it in. Even if it is a lesser value car that you are buying a reputable dealer should give you fair market trade in value for the car. It sounds like at the lease payment you have you put significant cost cap money down so you shouldn't be that upside down on trade.

Just my humble opinion and I hope everything works out well for you!

LMAO. Con artists are great at using google alerts. "Porsche assume lease". "BMW assume lease" "Audi assume lease" It must be difficult signing up and finding your way back to all these enthusiast forums when trolling for innocent victims.

I agree with the posters above. besides, the way you have it priced, anyone financially responsible would simply buy it. With 16 payments left, thats $20k in lease payments plus a $88,700 buyout for a total cost of $108,700, which is only about 12.5% off sticker. Dealers near me are advertising 10% off new 2013's and that's before negotiations. It makes more sense to buy it for $101,000.

My point is that anyone looking for a 16 month lease only isn't looking at the full picture, and they might not be the best candidate to trust your credit history to.

Good luck with whatever you end up doing.
