Default 2002 C4S for sale - Engine failure

Model: 911
Mileage (numbers only please): 54000

Location (Region): Canada
Body Style: Coupe
Transmission Type: Manual - 6 speed
2 or 4 Wheel Drive?: 4 Wheel Drive

Stereo System: AM-FM CD

All, recently the engine made a horrible racket and lots of metal, brass in the oil. Indy diagnosed as rod bearing failure. The motor is still in the car, will run but I will not start it again.

Asking $19,500OBO.

As such I am putting it for sale, if it does not get my price or close I will just build a motor over the winter so low ball offers will not be considered. I have a lot invested over the last 2 years.

The car is very well maintained, 86,000km (54k miles). Recent work approx 6000miles ago.

New clutch/slave cylinder
LN IMS
RMS
New rotors and pads+sensors+fluid flush
New tires
Tranny and coolant flush
Drive belt/Idler roller/tensioner roller
AOS
IPD intake
Gundo hack mufflers (like Fister)
Fabspeed X-pipe
TRG drop links
JIC Coilovers
Street/DE alignment
Custom computer tune - RSP Motorsports
BMC air filter
Fabspeed cold air hose
Misha GT2 Wing
B&M short shifter
Rennline track mats
Bumper plugs interior trim bits (painted dash strip and 2 CF pieces)
Painted Centre console
Victor Equipment lightweight 18" wheels

I have original Cats (worked fine), original springs and shocks and original center console and wing with all parts.

I babied this car, garage kept no winters very clean. Paint has normal wear not perfect (ie stone chips etc normal for a 12yr old car), no repaint or accidents. Carfax was/is clean.

Good deal for someone who wants to have a nice car with a brand new engine, build to its custom need.

I can see a nice 3.8 conversion for what 15-20k, + 20k on the car, you have a $40k car that will kick ***.

If you want to come to fall run anyway i am sure we could use lots of navigators , would be great to see you down there if you can grab a ride.

Hey... do you have a writeup or review on your car anywhere? I'd like to hear more about your car and engine.

I don't know if you are interested , but EBS racing was clearing out a number of their rebuilt engines at what appeared to be excellent prices. Have dealt with them in the past for parts and found them to be very good. I was actually referred to them. I believe their website is EBSRacing .com . Very nice car,
Good Luck.

Thanks, I have a lot of interest in the car but will see. If it does not sell quickly I will consider this route.
