For sale is my 1989 944 turbo S (or 951s). Velvet red metallic, on silk grey leather (nappa). It has around 90k miles on it right now and is in fantastic condition for its age. It has gone through a couple people before my ownership, but it has been maintained throughout it’s life, with records going back to ’89. The records are quite profuse and I will gladly show them to a potential buyer (see list of main items below). It has also had a couple of modifications installed.
There are no mechanical issues to really speak of, no leaks, smoking, or funny noises. The a/c needs to be recharged (it sat for awhile and it wasn’t turned on when the car was fired), but I will try to get that taken car of before it sells. Also, the power steering rack seeps fluid, so a new rack is included. It still has the factory bell pan on it as well.
The exterior is in awesome shape as well. Factory paint still shines like new. The front bumper has some rock chips and door moldings have faded so they will probably need a re-spray for someone wanting a showroom car. One of the headlight washer caps fell off one day while washing it as it fell apart. I have it, but new ones are on order. All the rubbers are in great shape so no water in the cabin like in most 944’s.
Interior is in great shape as well. It has a big sound system custom made for it. High quality French speakers (focal/ 12 speakers total). Leather is still nice and soft, and clean. The dash has a couple small cracks as usual, but nothing huge. It also has a clean carfax with no crashes or funny business. This can also be provided for the potential buyer. Asking $15,500. Car comes with the Saratoga top, and original body color top. Three sets of keys including the valet, and wheel lock keys, and two key fobs for the aftermarket alarm. I'm in east Orlando, by UCF. I do a lot of things on my own, but for things that I can't do like an a/c recharge I'd take it to German Excellence. They're the go-to guys for Porsche stuff in the area.
