Just picked up a Rover a little bit ago (yes I'm masochistic) and need to get my LC out of my apartment building parking garage before they notice and tow it! This has been a great truck for me and I hate to get rid of it. It is an extremely clean truck compared to most that I have seen of the same vintage and should make somebody extremely happy with what they're getting. Details on the truck:
-143,646 miles at the time of writing. Shouldn't go up much except for test drives.
-Dark green exterior in great shape - only body damage is about a 3-4" long crack on the front right fender flare.
-Tan leather interior, more or less perfect except for a small ~4" rip in the seam on the driver's side from entry/exit wear
-3rd row seating
-New Michelin windshield wipers
-VA State safety & emissions inspection good until 4/13
-AC blows cold and heat blows hot
-Factory roof rack deleted
-Southern truck, so NO rust save for surface stuff on the exhaust
-Roof rack with rain gutter towers, Thule square crossbars & Thule fairing included with sale
-STOCK!!!! Hasn't been molested and is ready for your build. Blank canvas here.
-Class 3 receiver trailer hitch (no wiring)
-Just installed a Alpine CDE-136BT head unit that features streaming bluetooth music from your smartphone, CD, aux input, ipod control, etc. I used a wiring harness adapter to install it so installing any other head unit (including stock) would be plug & play. 1 DIN pocket under the new radio.
-Rear wiper transmission splines are stripped. Motor works fine but needs a new transmission arm - had this fixed with JB weld for a while but it finally let go again
-Tires will probably need to be replaced at next inspection. They still drive solid in the rain at highway speeds but look like they are on the low end of legal
Asking $5500 for it. I think this is a very fair price for a stock, low mile, rust free, southern truck. Would make a great tow rig on the cheap for lighter cars or aluminum trailer set ups. Feel free to PM me or contact me at cniblett@gmail.com with questions. Can take many more detailed pics for long distance buyers. Thanks!
