With mixed emotions, I’m putting my 1996 C4S up for sale to help fund the purchase of a 993tt that I’ve been searching for relentlessly over the past 2 years. I’ve really enjoyed owning this car & I’ll be sad to see it go, but I just don’t see the point of having 2 AWD 993’s in the garage.
I purchased it from a rennlister last spring who cared for it lovingly & drove it back 700 miles to MI – it didn’t miss a beat and hasn’t since. The next weekend I installed a new Bilstein HD / ROW M030tt suspension with a proper alignment performed also. No CEL issues during my or the PO ownership.
It’s in beautiful condition inside and out. The PO had the front bumperette delete done at his place of work & had most of the car painted to ensure a great color match. I’ve been under the car and could not detect any signs of prior damage & I also have a few pictures from the PO that were taken during the delete and show no damage to the front. Both the Carfax & Autocheck reports were fine in all respects. I don’t have much history / service receipts with the car but there are a few that show that the clutch was replaced (Carl’s Place in Vegas) at 43,XXX miles. I was initially a little concerned by the lack of detailed history, but as soon as I saw / drove the car it was obvious that it has been well cared for. During my ownership the car has performed flawlessly, consumed little to no oil and left not a single drip of anything on the garage floor.
Options:
030 – Sport Group
159 – Motor Sound Pkg
329 – Radio - ?
340 – Seat Heating – Right
373 – Left Sport Seat
374 – Right Sport Seat
454 – Automatic Speed Control
650 – Sunroof
659 – Onboard Computer
C36 – Canadian Type Car
Highlights:
• 1996 C4S – Originally a Canadian car, imported to the USA in 1999 & has been owned in WA/NV/MO and MI (no rust belt winters).
• Polar Silver / Midnight Blue
• 49,9XX miles
• Bilstein HD / ROW M030 suspension
• After market stereo system with subs integrated into the space behind the seats (nicely done) – I added the Hi-Fi speaker panels recently.
• HID conversion
• Integrated Escort Passport front & rear radar detector (works well ;-)…
The car will be sold with the original C4S turbo twist wheels – the wheels pictured ARE NOT FOE SALE.
As you can see in the pictures, the car has a turbo tail – unfortunately I do not have the original deck lid, although I will include a deck lid that I purchased recently (it will require the basket handle holes to be filled & paint).
PPI’s are fine, though with a busy travel schedule in the coming weeks may take some coordinating.
$43,500
Please PM me with any questions or interest – thanks!
^ Sorry for the grubby mats... The interior pictures were taken prior to the installation of the Hi-Fi speaker pods also. I'm traveling this week, so the pictures are what I had on my laptop. I will take more pics this weekend.

Apologies for my late night reading skills... Was mainly looking at the photos which show an imperial (mph) speedo / odo and got confused.. So it was replaced during the import?

A very nice 993 example. So who's going to ante up? Honey, I spent the rent money for the next XXX years..... we can always live in a 2nd 993...
GLWS.
My wifes 1st Boxster was ordered arctic silver w/ blue leather over blue top. Nice departure from Silver/black. Either or, both are classic exterior/interior combo's..
