SOLD! I bought this 1996 993 C2 in 2004 from the original Southern California owner. It's black w cashmere (tan) leather. 89k. RSR mufflers. Lowered and cornerweighted with Eurospec M030 springs and swaybars, HD Bilsteins. 18” Turbo hollow spokes with Michelin PS2s. CDC-3 disc changer. Clear front corner lenses. New: Front discs and pads, V-belts, Porsche factory battery, Porsche logo mats, oil cooler resistors; oil change, AC recharge, detail. Leather is excellent w no rips or worn sports. (See pics at bottom of thread). New clutch at 70k. No SAI issues ever--smogs super-clean. SAI Ports and leakdown certified by Callas Rennsport as "great." It's a gorgeous car but not a museum piece or garage queen: It's been driven sportingly (likely why the SAI passages are clear) although never raced or tracked. It was repainted from windshield forward in 2004 to clean up chips and scrapes but has never sustained any serious damage nor had any mechanical issues or problems. Extras include Beverly Hills Motoring car cover, all records including original sticker from Vasek Polak Porsche in Manhattan Beach. Gorgeous car; incredible to drive. $31,500. SOLD.

Pleased to report that a PPI last week by a nationally-revered 993 expert found the SAI passages clear, compression good and leakdown great. There are no engine fault codes in the OBD computer. The mechanic said the engine and trans sounded good and ran strong.

We are scratching our itch and it is a serious 993 itch. We just got back from looking at one in Texas. If we were looking for a Black 993 (not on our list of colors), this one just might be the one.
