This is a phenomenal automobile and you will be hard pressed to find one in better condition. I won't say its perfect, but very nearly so.

I bought this car about a year ago with about 19.6k miles on the clock. I've driven it a few thousand miles and it is a great ride.

This car was purchased from Capt Earl (well known in 928 circles). He acquired it from the original owner and performed the following maintenance at 19.5k miles:
New timing belt, water pump, cam gears, rebuilt belt tensioner, replaced motor mounts, installed silicone oil pan gasket, installed rebuilt steering rack, fresh oil, brake fluid, replaced A/C condensor, receiver/dryer, charged A/C with R12, New tires all around. Its is ready to drive...turn the key and go.

here is his post about the car

I love the car, but my life is changing and I need something that I can drive in the winter and stuff my dogs into and I definitely don't want to spoil this time capsule by doing that. I'd keep it and add another to the stable but its already a 3rd car for me and I just don't have room for 4.

Factory paint marks still showing on fasteners in the engine compartment

Thanks for the kind words gentlemen. This truly is a special car and I want it to go to a loving home. If I wasn't completely upside down financially on my '79 930, I might be selling it instead. The 928 is actually fairly practical...try this with your 911:

That's a 2x10 bass cabinet, 800 watts of power amp, pre-amp and a bass guitar packed into the boot of the 928, headed out for a gig. But there's no way I'm stuffing 157lbs of slobbering dogs into the boot of such a choice piece of automotive history.
