Eleven years into production, Porsche W. Germany finally introduced the turbo charged 911 to the US market in 1986. Prior, unless you had connections and willingness to pay a premium for a “grey market” car, the 930 Turbo with its ground pounding raw performance was a car manufactured for the European Market only. The European 930 was introduced to the US as the 911 Turbo featuring some subtle styling enhancements and 29 more horsepower.
We are pleased to present this 1986 Porsche 911 Turbo for consideration. Every aspect of this enthusiast owned 911 Turbo has been well maintained and consistently cared for. Mechanically the car has a complete service history throughout its 69 000 miles over two owners. The unmodified, 3.3 liter turbo charged flat 6 presents itself in excellent working order delivering 330 hp via the 4 speed gear box to the rear wheels. Cosmetically the car is outstanding in every way. The exterior is accident / incident free, the original guards red paint remains in excellent condition showing less than normal wear for the miles. The black leather interior remains in excellent original condition as well showing only minor wear in the driver area. Documentation includes original owners manual, stamped maintenance book, all factory stickers in place and legible and an extensive service file. This 911 Turbo also comes complete with tools, spare, and inflator.
