Hello RL,
I am making some changes in the garage and looking to get back into a P Car. The first toy that has to go is this beautiful Ariel Atom 3R. This was the final car produced in a special run of only 10 chassis. It is car #10 or 10 and was finished in early 2018 making it the only 2018 3R.
The 3R is unique from the 3 and 3s in that it is power by a supercharged Honda K20Z3 motor making 300hp and 220 lbs/ft tq (versus the 3s which is turbocharged and the 3 which is NA). I've included a link below to the full specs from Ariel.
https://www.arielna.com/arielatom-3r
Some of the highlights are a custom one off chassis paint color that is metallic black, full hand laid carbon fiber package (bonnet, airbox, intake snorkel, fenders), adjustable JRi dampers, and Wilwood four piston brakes. This car also has the highly desirable front and rear wing package with towing eyelets (Originally $5,995)
In the approx 1 year I have had the car, I have put on only 2400 miles (give or take a few depending on how many more car shows I go to) and zero track days. The Toyo R888 tires still have plenty of life on them. The oil was proactively changed at 1,100 miles.
This car has an Arizona VIN and is titled and registered and street driven. Registration will vary depending on each state.
Please feel free to comment below or PM with any questions. The car is available to be seen in person in Northeast PA (weather pending) but no test drives will be given (insurance reasons). I am however happy to take prospective buyers out as a passenger providing there is a true intent to purchase (no joy ride for tire kickers).
Note - not pictured below but included with the sale are - custom Ariel floors mats, numbered (10 of 10) Ariel Atom 3R indoor car cover, all paperwork, specs, owners manual etc that originally came with the car.
Thanks
Ryan

Hi Ryan,

Where in PA are you located? Any trouble driving in the streets around PA, as in, stops by the authorities and having papers checked? Any trouble with insurance coverage?

thanks-Hoi

Hi Hoi,
I am just outside Scranton. No issues with copes. I actually got stopped by the vehicle fraud inspector cause he thought the car was cool, I showed him all the papers and he said good to go. I was planning to get it registered in PA this season. I have insurance through Rally. A little pricey but was a piece of cake to get a policy
Thanks
Ryan

These are so damn cool. What's the max height you think someone could be to fit in comfortably w/o their head sticking over the windscreen? 6'4" here...

The 3r has a good sized screen. 6'4" might be close to the max before you have a good breeze. I am only 5'8" but feel very little wind over the top of the windscreen

They are a very unique car indeed. I had always wanted one. Glad I had the chance to own one. I have never driven anything like it

Such a cool car! I had a chance to drive an earlier version through the twisties outside of Denver a few years back. What an e-ticket ride! GLWS.

It certainly brings a lot of smiles every time out! If only it didn't rain as much in this area. If I could drive it twice as much, I would never sell it.

6'3" here, I fit in one (not R version) with same windshield and seating arrangement with plenty of room. My helmet barely scrapes the roof getting in

If it scrapes the roof, try rolling down the windows

Lucky few who had driven an Ariel, different league! I know the feeling of 300 hp on a lightweight chassis. GLWS OP!

Agreed. There really is nothing like it. One day down the road, I will own one again. It is such a raw driving experience. Open cockpit, no ABS, no traction control, manual steering. A true drivers car
