1996 PORSCHE 911 TURBO

“The Most Brutally Accelerating, Best-Handling, Best-Braking Porsche Ever Sold In The USA” – Motortrend, June 1, 1995

Back in 1996, essentially no production car sold in America could out-muscle the Porsche 993 TT in flat-out acceleration. With a staggering 400 horsepower pumping from the loins of its twin-turbocharged, twin-intercooled, 3.6-liter SOHC flat-six, with all-wheel drive and 18-inch rubber to claw the ground, with a close-ratio six-speed gearbox to stir your soul, and with high-downforce bodywork of scoops, slats, grilles, and appendages, the most brutal street Porsche ever produced is also the ultimate roadside predator.

Since taking ownership, I spent numerous hours researching, building, and restoring many aspects of the car. She is currently housed in a private exotic car storage facility. Originally, my intent was to do a GT2 conversion. I lost interest in that plan and then listed the car on Bring A Trailer. The car did not reach my reserve so I brought her back to stock spec. Although I had a few offers over 100k as it sat at the time, I felt the car was worth a lot more. At present, I'm interested in an outright purchase, or a trade towards a 991.1 GT3RS or a 720S.

Price: $135,000 as she sits, or $130k on turbo twists.

Basics
53,xxx miles
Clean Title in Hand, Clean Carfax
Guards Red
Litronic Headlights
Power Windows, locks and sunroof
Bone stock minus the mods listed below:

Modifications
Stock motor, turbos and ECU
993TT Euro Turbo Front Bumper and Turbo S Ducts
Moton Club Sport Coilovers
Forged carbon strut bar
Custom exhaust with sport cats (sounds amazing and not too loud)
993 GT2 Rear Seat Delete and Lightweight Carpet
Continental Bluetooth Radio
Custom Hartmann Twist Wheels and brand new tires
Custom Option Code painted Calipers

Maintenance
The car has maintenance stamps from decades ago, and maintenance records up to the last few months. It's my goal that this car goes to another P-Car enthusiast to keep up its tradition. Everything on the car has been serviced. The car did spend some time on the track many years ago, and was previously owned by a fellow PCA member. In recent years she has only been used on the street, and has never seen the rain. The transmission was completely rebuilt from top to bottom in top-shelf fashion. If you know 993TTs, you know this was not cheap. The brakes have been completely rebuilt – calipers, pads/rotors and everything in between. The motor is stock and was serviced+sealed prior to my ownership. Recent PPI performed by Sleepers Speed Shop shows the car and motor to be in excellent, very stout shape. If you've driven a few of these cars, you will note that mine feels particularly tight and turnkey in all respects.

Thank you, and I appreciate your potential interest.

I remember the car on BAT and looks much better reverted back to stock. From the maintenance to the looks, you really have prepped the car for the next owner. This is a SOLID price and it's ready to drive! GLWS!

Price SLASHED to 119k! One of the cheapest 993 turbo cars in the country with so much service history.

The car now has the OEM suspension and comes with 993 twists/new tires. Thanks!!

Awesome ride. Very tempting. But looks like you’re in the market for a 991.1 GT3

Thanks all, and for all the messages and interest since I drastically lowered the price!

Trade wise, I would prefer a 991 Turbo S or GT3.... or a GT3 RS plus cash on my end...

Looks great.. is the rear deck lid/spoiler OEM or aftermarket? Looks like fitment is off or needs adjustment.

Have any less edited shots you can share? Particularly of interior/seats? You can PM or email if you’d rather not post on the thread.

Thanks
