Yes, unfortunately. I did have Bumperplugs do the paint to sample plugs for it. Looks pretty damn clean. Even had custom Expel cut outs to cover them

Ha!!... I just wrote back to you (PM) too,... and then just now see your comment on bumper plugs & XPEL. Yea my Aqua Blue bumper is drilled too, & also has paint to match plugs,... and I'll be getting the full front clip XPEL in a couple weeks, which will also include custom bumper plug circles to cover them too.
Great minds think alike!!

Smart to work with Doug. GLWS!!

AHHHHH!!!!!,... now THAT WOULD BE COOL,... to have you & I BOTH have a Guards Red 964 Turbo, AND a Aqua Blue 997.2 GT3. I can tell you having the pair together is really a treat.
..... oh wait Bill,... did you actually sell that '92 3.3 Turbo back in '13 or so? ... I see you picked up a Arctic Silver 996TT.

Hope all goes well with the visit, and that you are pleased with the car.

I did sell it Steve, right before the bubble! Fortunately the house I bought with the $ has drastically increased in value as well.

I am really looking forward to seeing it.

I have a similar car to yours. I think your price is great and the car is unique. This is my 2nd 997.2 RS. Sold first one. Missed it. Bought different one back. I think for the money it's a hard car to beat.

Thanks! I am aware of your car, it's also unique! I think they are great cars too. I had a 991 GT3 and didn't keep it. And many who can afford both usually add a 997 at some point..

Especially yours. I regret not buying it last summer.

I'm really glad you didn't buy her.

Like a member of my family now. It's funny, I'd planned on trading her back in this summer (my car ownership line is not long), but decided to keep it long term (whatever that means). I love the color scheme with the CXX riveria bits, but it's really the 997.2 platform (which is why this car is such a great buy for someone). The last manual RS. The cost of ownership of these cars is extremely low and they are just so fun to drive. 997.2 such a great platform. I just had the coolant pipes pinned in mine, clutch changed (any other service I could think of) and wrapped the entire car in Xpel.

I did the same thing last summer. Bought a 997.2 3RS to hold me over until my new 3RS arrived. Planned on trading it in. Fast forward. Got my new car yesterday and didn't trade in the 997. It's a keeper. Did all the same things to it that you did and then some. Even my wife thought I should keep it and she isn't into cars! haha.

Please let me know if you bring this car back to Fort Collins. I've been watching this thread resisting the temptation to buy the car, would love to see it local.
