About 20sec difference between 991.1rs and 991.2rs
10sec from new tires (cup R)
2-3sec from a more aggressive lap (over the limit?)
2-3sec faster track (new pavement)
5 sec faster car
I would say a well set up 997.2rs (similar to MR 991.2rs) with new cup R and 2018 ring pavement (apples to apples) compare would be 15-20 sec slower than 991.2rs.
Comes down to PDK, 45-50 hp, RWS, etc

I noticed your plate! It is crazy to think that your RS is only 5 seconds faster than a 400hp 991.1 C2S at the ring, and 5 seconds slower than a 991.2 C2S! Technology is crazy. What is the new GT3 RS: 6:57? How did they find 37 seconds in 8 years? That is 6% faster; an eternity!

I was the second owner. A 4.0 clutch was installed under warranty at Park Place in Dallas by John Gladwill. the original failure was common.
I think the color combo was one of the greatest ever sold.
