All this Spyder feedback reminds me of my 05 GT3. Not gonna own many cars with the same overall driving dynamics. I regret selling that car and wish I could have it back. It really makes reconsider any thought of selling mine-truly a Goldilocks car as those who know, know. Only around 800-ish made for the N.A. market.
I owned an 04 GT3. That car and the Spyder are similar in terms of the emotional response from the driving experience. . I prefer the GT3 engine, but in every other respect the Spyder is better. It is truly an epic car. I can’t imagine how tough a decision it would be to sell it.
My 05 GT3 will very likely be the last car I ever own. There's literally nothing out there that ticks all the boxes for me like that car does.
Newer cars are full of gadgets, most of which I don't want, that add costs to the initial purchase price and additional maintenance costs when they inevitably fail. An older GT3 in good working order is a gem, and I envy their owners. Please do not interpret my posts as a veiled criticism of late vintage GT3s, since that's not my intent. I just happen to be a minimalist.
Car has 4600 miles on it now. Fun drive. Good car. Amazing road trip car. Needs a good detail which ill
do. I will also do the 3yr service and have the dealer give it a once over inspection. Ca Registration paid through apr 2020
Will take my ask if if someone wants it at $85,000.
Like the car. But want some new experiences and i don’t have the space.
