You likely already know this, but these seem to come regularly on BaT.

Yes thanks for the tip. Those tend to be higher mileage historically, was hoping for something in the 10k - 30k range.

Awesome choice! Hopefully a nice low mileage one pops up soon although I suspect it will be harder to find since they are usually DD’s.

We absolutely love our E400, total beast and yet very comfortable. I can’t imagine having another 150 Hp on tap, it would be a monster.

Good luck.

great to know! If I can’t find the e63 I’ll probably go for the e400 or ‘19 e450. You think the e400 is plenty for the family?

Absolutely! For the past 15 years we've always had an SUV in the family primarily because my wife wanted the space and preferred how they felt on the road. About 4 years ago I picked up a Volvo V60 for daily driving and she would drive it on occasion. After every drive she would comment how much more fun and easier it was to drive my car and slowly she came around to realizing a wagon is a much better driving car. Problem for us was that about once or twice a year we needed the third row when family or friends visited which limited us to SUV's. That was until I discovered the rear facing seats in the E Class wagons. I showed it to my wife and we decided to go check one out at the dealer. We both fell in love with the car immediately and after we both tried the back seats we bought one! We were lucky to find a 2017 CPO demo with 13k miles that was priced very well and had all the right options and color combo. It may not hold it's value as well as an AMG but I imagine the maintenance costs will be far less and should compensate for the depreciation.

17 CPO demo sounds ideal. After all it’s a family car and kids are kids so that would be my ideal spec. We looked at some ‘18 e400 demos today which have good incentives given the ‘19s are 450s. Def a v nice car, drives well and is very tech cool on the inside. Not the get up and go and make your skin tingle like the e63s but even in 400 form more than plenty for the fam and kids.

3rd tme writing this, in case it shows up 3x.

I have been watching the '14 - '16 E63 wagons and just picked up a CPO car from a dealer. the car is pretty much the same as the one just sold on BAT,
but with more miles, but no accident history. dealer serviced all it's life, one owner, and deliverd for about @2k less for the BAT car.

I suggest to watch autotrader.com. There are quite a few cars on there, which I was surprised about since people say how rare they are. I've seen a few with
the B&O sound which I wanted too, but none with the Ceramic Brakes other than the one that was advertised here.

I added a 2 yr. warranty for $4600, so I am covered for unlimited mileage bumper to bumper for 3 yrs. It seems too good to be true, so I am waiting for something
to happen that I didn't expect.

i have never driven one of these, but am expecting big things. Good luck finding your dream E63!

Congrats! Do you mind sharing your purchase details for a data point? Feel free to PM if you prefer. I drove my friend’s the other day. It’s nuts and the complete package.

I've been following the market as well but more interested in an earlier E55 wagon over the E63 although it seems like the pre-facelift 12/13 cars aren't too much more than what people are paying for the W211 on BaT. There are some on AutoTrader but none fit exactly what you are looking for. Good luck!

I had a 14, e63s wagon and now an 18'. They are amazing cars . Faster then a GT3 in a straight line and actually the fastest car Mercedes makes 0-60 3sec.

Try MBworld they have a great forum to find a car

I know one that fits almost everything BUT it has 45K miles on it but the car is immaculate and well kept. They just took delivery of a 2019 and are going to sell the current one. Car is a custom flat silver (custom color through Mercedes) and is in incredible condition and has every available option.

E63 wagon

Sounds like a cool spec., I’d love to know the details. My ‘14 E63 is en route from the dealer, so I am no longer in the market for one.

I’ve noticed the ‘18’s on the market seem to have ceramic brakes as more standard, so with any luck I’ll be moving into one of those at some point when I can still get the CPO warranty and 1/2 off the original sticker price.
