Don't do it yourself as the paperwork is endless! Just hire a broker to handle everything and just wait for your delivery. Because a GT3 is also sold here in the US is a big plus when it comes to government requirements, customs, etc.. good luck

It's 2 single page forms (NHTSA HS-7, CBP 7501) and 1 two page form (EPA 3520), plus a letter of conformance from Porsche. The forms take all of about 5 minutes to fill out - they even have extra copies at the border.

Not what I would call endless.

You will owe customs duties of ~2.5% and (if Porsche requires it in the letter of conformance) may need to make changes to the vehicle's instrument cluster. Usually though, when driving the vehicle over in person, the digital MPH readout in the cluster is sufficient.

If you have the time and patience yeah if not just hire a broker and save yourself the aggravation as there's more into it. Bought 2 cars from Canada before and if I wanna do it again I'll repeat the broker's services. I paid $1400 for the services plus the enclosed transport.

1400 for both the paper work and enclosed transport? or 1400 + enclose transport fees?

plus enclosed transport, you're still way ahead of the game as I think OP's car is the lowest priced GT-3 RS in the planet plus he might further lower the price a little more as his new toy is probably delivered already. Good luck and happy motoring! My timing is not right otherwise I'll ****** this one up.
