This 1978 Porsche 911SC was recently acquired by the selling dealer from its prior owner of 10 years and 20k miles. Originally a Targa, this example was made into a full convertible with a folding soft top under previous ownership and is powered by a 3.0-liter flat-six paired with a 915 5-speed manual transaxle. An $8,500 mechanical service recently completed by the selling dealer included resealing of the engine, a valve adjustment, new belts and hoses, installation of an airbox pop-off valve, a tune-up, and fresh shift linkage bushings. This 911SC shows 119k miles and is offered by the selling dealer with a receipt for the recent service and a clean Oregon title.
​​​​​​This 911SC was converted and repainted in its original Guards Red at an unknown point under prior ownership. The folding fabric convertible top houses a plastic rear window and is illustrated from several angles in the photo gallery below. A factory 911 convertible was not available until 1983.
​​​​​​Polished 16″ Fuchs wheels are equipped with 205/55 Dunlop SP Sport 4000 A/S tires up front and 225/50 Falken Ziex ZE912s out back.
