So you bought you’re friends car and you’re flipping it for at least $24K profit after many on this forum wanted to buy it. Lack of character, but whatever you’re into.....
And your last post said he had a deal with someone on this forum so you were taking the Ad Post down. Very odd

Maybe it fell through and he decided to buy it for himself realizing it was an opportunity.
Nothing wrong with a bit of capitalism. Sucks that we all missed out, but I don't see what he did wrong other than not take off those wheels and melt them down for scrap.

I do agree on the wheels, change to Fuchs and this will sell a lot faster and for more $$$

"The deal fell through" really are we going with that?
Maybe its a case of "wholly crap batman this car is priced way below the market......umm you know what FRIEND, I think I will buy your car after all. Hello eBay, yea $65k starting bid and a buy it now of $75k, and list it right away!!!"
I am sure as a "Friend" you titled this car in your name and paid his taxes rather than sell it on an open title too. I just guessed that, given all the work he put into the car, pictures and presentation as you step over your "friend" to get this baby to market.
As I said when this car was listed for the "Friend" something stinks about the whole deal. I doubt we "missed out".

You’re missing my point, who would do that to a friend? I would’ve told my friend he was way underpriced and not taken advantage of him. Maybe that is not what is really happening but it doesn’t seem that way.

I'm all for making some green on a car deal if possible, but If you are going to try and make a profit on a car while engaging on RL with members who are smart and don't put up with weird car salesman crap, be smart enough to make up a believable story so you don't look like a complete fool.
