1979 Porsche 930 Turbo. This is a bone stock 930 with 54,454 original miles with service history, manual, warranty & maintenance book with dealer stamps. Sold new 11/29/78 at Felton Porsche Audi in Mill Valley CA. Metallic black, sport seats, black headliner, sunroof, a/c, original alarm, some original tools. Early model with snorkel headlight washers, built September 1978. Brand new Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo Rs. Everything original, even the radio and it works, electric antenna as well. Partial respray in original metallic black done during prior ownership. Runs very strong. Shifts beautifully. Recent engine out service to fix oil leaks, still needs one addressed, passenger side timing chain cover, received estimate of $1200 to do both sides. A/C compressor works but will need recharge. Prior to my purchase in late 2015, the car appeared to have sat for a long time, interior was really dried out, typical dash warping near windshield, steering wheel leather coming apart at seam. It just looked neglected. The previous owner had passed away and I think the car sat for a period of time. After I purchased, I had IPB Autosport go through the car and make it road worthy. Appraised in December 2015 at $110K. Can share appraisal. Currently registered, original blue plates, smog test was exceptionally clean and passed visual with original thermal reactors in place. $90K firm. Mike 916.337.7912 <br>

May also consider part trade/cash for 1967-1969 912 or a 911T any year.

Did you do any of the interior work the car needed?

Not yet, trying to keep everything original, next owner can decide if they want to address anything.

Gave the leather another treatment and took photos. Every surface is original, nothing modified. Leather is coming back nicely, it was very dry and stiff. Very little wear on passenger side seat, driver side only on the bolster but split bead withstanding, very little wear on this side as well. I am not sure how the previous owner split the bead allowing the twisted cord material to come out. Have many more photos to share and original size, these are reduced for Rennlist.

During the recent engine out service to address the timing chain cover seals, I took a series of chassis and engine bay photos. I also had the mechanic replace the firewall insulation. You will notice in one photo, I circled an area in red where it is believed the engine lid must have dropped suddenly and hit the a/c compressor that must have been partially removed and sitting higher than normal. The engine lid struts were not working when I took possession. I had new struts installed.

More interior shots. Typical wavy dash but original. Original radio with electric antenna that still works. Clock still works and keeps accurate time. Mileage is correct as of today. Still has cassette holders too. Original carpets.
