There is one accident reported on Carfax dated August 28, 2005 described as "rear impact with parked vehicle." I purchased the car in January of 2015. I repainted the front hood to fix rock chips and it looks perfect. Total Performance Automotive (Ambler, PA)
The maintenance listed below has been performed during my 3+ years of ownership, everything has less than 5,000 miles of use. I have receipts in hand that total $16,800 for the last 3 years. Clean PA title in hand.
- Suspension replaced with H&R Street Performance coilovers - installed by Polar Automotive, Cherry Hill NJ
- Lower control arms, drop links, sway bars - Polar Porsche, Cherry Hill NJ
- Corner balance alignment - Dougherty Automotive West Chester PA
- 18" RS 808 wheels - Wheel Dynamics
- Alternator (rebuilt), Starter, Battery, Oil Filler Tube - all replaced by self
- Wire harness btw starter, alt, and 12v connection - self
- Water pump - Porsche of the Main Line
- Thermostat - Porsche of the Main Line
- Coolant drained and filled - Porsche of the Main Line
- Differential (final drive) gear oil - Porsche of the Main Line
- Oil and filter change with DT40 Joe Gibbs - every year regardless of miles driven - most recent oil change was April 2018, dropped oil sump pan and found perfectly clean conditions. Zero evidence of anything except used oil.
- 4 new tires
- Front seats replaced with like new Porsche 997 seats gray - 8 way power seats (no heat), excellent condition, no droop or sag of seat bottom.
- Brake fluid entire system flushed - self
- Transmission mount replaced - Premier Eurocars Devon PA
- Both front tie rods - Premier Eurocars Devon PA
- Radiators cleaned - self
- ATF transmission fluid and filter replaced - self
- Air filter replaced - self
- Polyrib belt replaced (serpentine belt) - self
- Gas cap replaced - self
- Pollen filter replaced - self
- 4 speakers replaced - self
- Alpine stereo head unit
- Hood shocks and engine lid shock replaced - Premier Eurocars Devon, PA
A lot of recent maintenance and a new suspension. There are cosmetic imperfections with the paint as should be expected from any vehicle that has been on the road for 16 years and over 120k miles. Small issues here and there but nothing that affect driving or performance. The ashtray lid doesn't close, there is only one cup holder, one wheel has a small curb rash, side mirrors have some clear coat issues.

It's spring! Time to cut the winter grass.
And that's the only fun I can have with your ad. (Well, the tip is a given fun). At your price point, that is one nice Pcar. Your new suspension gives it a perfect stance, and the wheels just add to it. And I like how the Porsche decal sets it off from the silver Teutonic herd. Overall good care. Great newer seats. You won't be selling that bauble for very long, I'm sure.
Are you too modest to tell us what the new Porsche is?

Now I'm seriously considering the Audi SQ5 - 354 hp/369 lb-ft torque, adaptive suspension, bang & olufsen 19 speaker 755 watt stereo, premium diamond stitched leather sport seats, Audi virtual cockpit with navigation for less than a base 4 cyl Macan with less features!! I am going to part out this car if I can sell the engine first for $7,000, I have an ad in the parts section.

If you haven’t already, you can list it in cargurus.com for free and get a national audience. No affiliation but I’ve searched their site.
This should sell quickly at this price point - hard to find a decent 911 so inexpensive.

Bump for new price $14,000 and best offer option. I have tried selling my 996 for a few months now and I'm a bit surprised no one sees the value in this car at $14,000. It runs and drives fantastic. My gosh just the fact that it's a reasonably decent looking Porsche 911 that someone could hop into and drive across the country right now, you would think is worth $14k. But apparently that is not the case. The market will always decide what something is worth. This car is now available and WILL be sold to the highest bidder by Saturday Aug. 4 - 10 am. I just purchased a brand new Audi SQ5 and I'm looking for a new Porsche. Must sell and WILL sell. Someone is going to get a fantastic deal.

Cold start video is coming, should be up tomorrow if weather in Philadelphia clears up.
Auto shifting and manual shifting through all gears video is coming.
Below are two crappy videos just to get started. First is me driving to work this morning engine cold. Second is arrived at work, parked, engine running. It's been raining for days in Philadelphia so car is wet. I have the date wrong! Today is Thursday, July 26 !

I'm pretty surprised that this has been for sale for so long and not sold already. I just purchased my 2001 Cab a month ago and if I would have seen this, I probably would be driving it today. The maintenance and service on this car is pretty amazing. In fact I'm going to use it as a reference for what I should do with my car. :-)
Quick question, out of all the service shops you've used in your area, which one did you like the most? I live just north of you and need a good, trustworthy indie shop.
Good luck with your sale, I'm sure it'll go soon. Also, I would suggest BAT if you have the stomach for the critics.
