I am selling to purchase a 996 Turbo while the price is still right. This car is in excellent shape inside and out; has been driving less than 3000 miles per year on average. It is all original except the chrome 18" chrome turbo style wheels have been redone as the chrome was flaking off (common with ME's). The Burl wood interior accents are generally in good order; the drivers door "cubby" cover is cracking and there are small cracks in the steering wheel. I had 4 new tires installed a few days ago (3/9/18). The IMS has not been replaced; however, I can say I had an oil change less than 2,000 miles ago and there were no signs of debris when they cut open the oil filter. This car's original MSRP in 2000 was just over $89,000 and came with virtually every option available. I have attached the original brochure if you are interested... My favorite is the exterior paint that changes colors from brown, dark green, black to purple based on ambient lighting. As well as the natural brown leather interior that is hand stitched and covers the dash, console, doors, and c pillars; you still get the leather smell when you open the doors. The color scheme is a personal preference but if you're a fan you will not find a better equipped 996 anywhere. This is number 827/911 and I have read in more than one article that only 300 were shipped to the U.S.; I have not seen documentation of this from Porsche...
