4th owner of the car, been in Northern California its whole life, was a great DD and had about 8 trips to the track. Never abused at the track, never near the rev limiter. Handles extremely well with GT3 suspension (height adjustable) and a deep sump kit on the oilpan. If not for the expanding family I would not be selling this car. If you are looking for an affordable alternative to a GT3, this is it.

- GT3 coil-overs and GT3 adjustable sway bars, Tarett Links. Corner balanced for driver ~ 180lbs, -1.5 camber all the way around. All rear suspension parts replaced with adjustable links.
- Deep sump kit installed in the last 3k miles
- Foam air filter with some mods to the factory air box – silicon hoses
- GT3 brake cooling ducts (front only)
- Fabspeed X-pipe
- IPD Plenum
- 997 Shift Kit - much shorter throw than stock
- Rennline Pedal kit
- GT3 Steering wheel
- Webo semi-solid motor mounts
- Rennline GT3 Fire Extinguisher mount under passenger seat

Stock extras (installed):
- Yellow seatbelts
- Yellow stitching on seats (front and back)
- Factory Aero side panels
- Bose sound system with subwoofer but using newer head unit with Bluetooth for phone connectivity (Kenwood KIV-BT900)

- 2 sets of "turbo" rims - one set is cosmetically ugly the other is almost blemish free.
Wheels set 1:
- Turbo style – 2 - 18x8 & 2 – 18x10
- Sumitomo
Wheels set 2:
- Turbo style – 2 - 18x8 & 2 – 18x10
- Proxys R888
- Stainless braided brake lines
- 5mm Spacers and new longer lug nuts from Porsche

- Hard-Wired for Passport Radar detector with Live

- Evo CAI air box
- Stock Air box
- 2 Stock Cats (one rattles)
- Stock 996 suspension (US not ROW)
-Struts & sway bars
- Stock Steering wheel

30k on motor
Perhaps some further info on this?

Was replacement engine a Porsche re-manufactured? Used motor? Rebuilt? If so, by who and what was done?

Yes, Motor was a replacement by Sonnen Porsche in 2010 (2 owners ago), 996 3.6L, I have the service receipt. Was brand new at time of replacement, owner before me put 3k miles on it and I put 27k miles on it.

Good info... Far better than a random rebuilt engine by an unknown shop.

Did the invoice say the cause of the failure and what else was replaced at that time?

Invoice says "engine cylinder liner cracked at pistons 1 & 2 - replace motor with factory exchange unit". Agreed, this was the selling point when I bought the car in 2010 - the color grew on me :-) Thanks for bringing that up!

Was done by Sonnen Porsche here in the Bay Area. The car has been in the Bay Area its whole life. Hope to sell it to someone who will appreciate it!
