Great video with Michael Gerowitz coaching at Mid-Ohio (he's driving; my video and time at top - obviously a second off Michael's each lap!): (I might add Michael has Cup record at Mid-Ohio. Therefore, I expect him to beat me on every lap!)
2003 Porsche 996 GT3 Supercup. Have only run in PCA and NASA DEs. Garaged last summer to run 944 Spec Series. Body, paint, and tub in great condition other than a couple of cracks in lower door panels and small dent in right rear my wife claims she didn’t put in it while in the garage.Stock 3.6L engine and gearbox are in good shape for refresh. Suspension will need rebuild. New OG racing seat and harnesses. Extra set of new tires. $50K OBO.

Michael from video above. I can personally vouch for Jeff. He is a stand-up gentleman and scholar (literally).
I wasn't pushing his car too hard (not mine after all). However, she was very balanced and a joy to wheel. The super cup exhaust sounds just as amazing outside of the car as in it. Even at 7/10ths - she will put a smile on your face.

Porsche GT3 Cup
Yes, it was imported from Brazil. I bought it in 2014. None of Brazilian cars had information on hours on engine or transmission. I ran DEs each summer. Engine is running great. However, I can't give you a very educated guess on how many more hours car might be run before a refresh/rebuild.
Wheels are OEM. Extra set of new Toyo R888. Just walked out to garage and realized I had extra set of wheels for my 944 but not GT3 Cup - sorry for that error in the original advertisement.

I had one of Brazilian cups and yes you can read hours in ECU .
My came with 2 hours and when I sold there was 28 hours.
Most of those cars needed refresh on suspension and had some sort of prior damage.
Can you tell me what was done to car and s
Pictures of front and rear frame rails would help.
Thanks

Race Car
Pretty sure I was next to you and this car in the pits at Mid Ohio the weekend that video was shot. Important to note the car was running on old R888's in the video in case anyone wants to armchair quarterback the time.
Brazilian car or not, that's a WHOLE lot of car for $50k.

MSTACH - I took car to Wright Motorsports in Batvia, OH (Cincinnati) spring 2014 for complete checkup. They removed engine, gearbox, and rear suspension; repaired rear frame rails, replaced gearbox mounts, and replaced engine mount. Also had Tarett sway bar end links, cooling system, and battery replaced. Then a race set up. I ran it that summer with no problems, then purchased the 944 to run in the NASA Spec Series last year. The suspension will probably need to be rebuilt, as you said. I purchased a 911 several years ago and ran DEs with NASA and PCA one summer. Then one of the guys showed me this car. I drove it and fell in love with it, and bought it. Of course, I didn't have a very good understanding of the need to refresh/rebuilt after 80-100 hours (I have to admit, I was pretty ignorant at that time). That's the most-honest assessment I can give you give - you have a lot more knowledge of these cars than I do. I'll get photos of the front and rear rails and post tomorrow.
Andy - thanks for the comment. Michael Gerowitz was coaching me that day. I learned pretty quickly that I was nothing more than a Sunday driver until Michael showed me how to push the car. Incredible what a Cup car can do if it is driven right. As you said, the R888s were done by the end of that day.

Out of curiosity how does the car drive on R888? Has it had any changes to spring rates to account for the less grippy r-compounds compared to slicks that cups usually run?

Hey guys!
Yes, hours can be pulled off of the ECU. Need the PIWIS or similar to do (I don't have that sort of tech).
Right AudiOn19s - good to hear from you as well. See you at the next MOR or NOR event. He is correct on old rubber. If anyone cares, I have track record videos up on my YouTube and some going setup runs in the 997.1 turning 1.31s without trying
R888s in the video were at the very end of their grip. So gave up an easy 3-4 seconds of time with lower braking mu, mid-corner peak speeds, and roll speed into corner. On fresh R888s (different weekend) the car has gobs more grip. And on Mission Foods Pirelli slicks (non-dot) its a true racer. I've raced 997.1 Cups there. This car has that potential.
In terms of setup, the alignment is not as aggressive as a full non-dot setup. Spring rates were not changed. Wright Motorsports has looked at this car and did the DE setup for 2016.
