FS: 2004 996 GT3

Driving a 996 GT3 is a special experience, and I maintained this car like I would keep it forever. But it's not getting driven much since I landed a GT4, and it's time for someone else to drive this GT3 and enjoy it. This car is set up so that it is satisfying and durable on the track, and still looks great on the street.

There's something very special about 996 gt3's. It has the feeling that my 991 GT3 is missing.

Beautiful car, good luck with sale!

Very nice. I would no think this would last long.

Have you done a DME dump and over rev report?

The car has a number of Range 1 over-revs, but zero Range 2 over-revs. I'll get an up-to-date DME report posted as soon as I can; that will take a few days.

Beautiful. GLWS.

I'd forgotten how good these cars were until recently. Hadn't driven one since they were new and reminded me how serious and hard edged these cars were.

Thanks for all the great comments. These really are special cars.

Amazing car, miss mine badly but zero track time the last 4 years.

chuckT3 04-16-2018 06:47 PM

Price reduced to $65,000.

Great price for a great looking and nicely set-up gt3. They don't make them like this any more -- not even close. GLWS!

A few questions:
Updated DME? Are these the HANS-width belts? Any exhaust mods? Approximate tire and brake wear? Clean title?

Thanks!

The 996 GT3 I had was the best driving 911 I ever owned, I’ve owned north of 20. It’s as sharp as they get and has very useable power and nothing about it feels synthetic, which the 997s started to do, and the 991s even more so. It’s also relatively small and relatively light, again 997s and 991s got “big”. If you’re looking for the last analog Porsche with superb driving dynamics, you can’t beat the 996 GT3, period. I should never have sold mine. GLWS
