This car was taken down to nearly a bare tub by Orbit Racing in Riviera Beach, FL over a year long restoration process. Orbit also takes care of my Porsche Cup Cars and shares the level of detail that I admire in car ownership. The condition of the car prior to all the work was overall good given its 65,500 original miles, but I am OCD about the details of things most people don’t ever see at first glance, so the amount of work that went into this car to make it nearly perfect is staggering. To make a long story short, the engine was rebuilt completely, the gearbox rebuilt completely, nearly every part of the brake system replaced with new parts, along with all the rubber seals EVERYWHERE on the car, all bumper trim, new wheel bearings, new oil lines, master cylinders, driveshafts, headlights, foglights, fuel lines…and on and on. The entire suspension was also replaced with all NEW components. Those are just some of the items done to this car...

It would honestly be easier to list the things that were NOT replaced with new parts rather than list all the new items, which is why a link to copies of the Invoices/Parts lists are included in this listing below, along with more pictures. The air conditioning was also upgraded because in stock form it would not suffice in Florida. The AC now blows cold enough to beat the Florida heat. I own several Porsches to include race cars and I simply don’t have the time, or space, for this car any longer. I have driven this car only 400 miles since all the work has been completed. The odometer currently reads 65,980.

The original interior is tan as seen in the pictures and my plan was to convert the entire interior over to black. This has been done with the exception of the carpet – I simply haven’t gotten around to replacing the carpet yet. Early sport seats refurbished in black leather were purchased and are currently in the car, but the original tan non-sport seats and other tan interior panels will also be included in the sale if the new owner would like to keep a tan interior. The original steering wheel was replaced with a MOMO Prototipo and will also be included with the sale.

The car is currently sitting on brand new 7” and 8” 16” Fuch replicas, lowered, with 205/55-16 and 225/50-16 BF Goodrich G-Force Comp 2 A/S tires (new).

Bravo, sir. This is almost exactly what I did with mine, but with a customized interior. Your pricing looks right to me. Hell, might even be low relative to what it could fetch on BaT.

Incredible, well done. Has to be one of the best sorted G50s around.
