2011 Porsche 997 GT3RS 4.0 3600 miles - Absolute mint condition
 

Now available from CPR Classic is this mint condition Porsche 997 GT3 RS 4.0 painted in Grand Prix White over a two tone black leather and red alcantara interior. The car is the 184th of only 600 4.0 RS examples built. The RS 4.0 was the pinnacle of capability for Porsche’s 997 GT3 breed powered by the world renowned Mezger based engine. Porsche stretched the Mezger engine’s performance capabilities to the limit with the 4.0 RS producing 500 brake horsepower and 339lbs of torque with 0-60 times in under 3.4 seconds.

Porsche also went all-out with weight reduction on the RS 4.0 with numerous panels including the hood, both front fenders, deck lid, spoiler and the doors being made from carbon fiber. The RS 4.0 is also the very last 911 RS model offered with a traditional manual transmission.

The car is a two-owner example that has been exceptionally cared for throughout its lifetime. Having only covered 3500 miles with zero track time ever, this RS shows as if it has no miles and never left the dealership. Driven with a steering wheel cover and plastic wrap over the shift knob, the beautiful alcantara is in as-new untouched condition across the entire interior.

The car was also wrapped in a clear bra when it was new that covers the entire front bumper, both front fenders, the hood, roof, mirrors, rear quarter panels and the rear spoiler. Light discoloration has occurred from age on some areas of the plastic, but is vaguely noticeable and easily replaceable if the new owner prefers.

The extremely limited production and level of performance in this 997 has made it one of the most sought-after RS examples ever produced. This example has been lovingly cared for its entire life and is in absolute mint condition. The 4.0 has seen massive rises in value since its launch six years ago and would be a cornerstone of any 911 connoisseurs collection.
