This is a newly built street legal track car and a daily driver with newly built track equipment. Only Two PCA Auto Cross events (testing purposes). 1997 year cars are very robust and a good candidate for a Spec Boxster, you can improve on what I have already invested if you want to go in the Spec route. Car has an upgraded exhaust, car has been flashed by previous owner and it is much faster and peppier after than other 986 base models. I bought a different car hence selling. It will cost you significantly more to get a low mileage, well maintained Boxster and put all the races stuff I have here- ask me how I know.

Have you looked into what it takes to make a competitive spec boxster car? How much would you estimate it would cost to complete this in spec? Another $20k? I know good spec boxsters usually sell in the $40k range with spare parts.

There are many sites list various BSR configuration, ex: http://www.race-cars.com/carsales/po...3017204ss.htm.
I have seen NEW spec Boxster going over $50 by reputable race builders. There were some at http://www.patrickmotorsports.com last year I think. I have seen used Spec Boxsters as low as $35. You can get partially build Spec Race cars between $20-30. I think the best situation for this particular car is for someone to use this car "as is" in DE/track events enjoying all the safety items I already have installed and then add Spec items along the way.
